Gave it a try no joy in 3d oh well no biggee been flying that way for over a year . Will say your newest version looks ridiculously awesome so much so that when dcs 2.0 comes out I don't think it will be a uber shocker coming from this mod good job! -

Bummer on delay but good to get solid info and change list looks great. Hope 3d and the rift are fully realized and blow us out of water with the new engine. Absolutely can't wait to test out the alpha release of Nevada! That's a great idea to get a bigger test bed !

I'll give it a try thanks Mustang, the specific area I have problems is the sea shore, so where the water almost looks transparent and you can see the sea floor sort of graphical effect. So basically all along the shore it's all goofy in 3d. I'll give your no reflections a try and maybe even see if water at low will fix the problem. Again it's only a problem on the sea shore, the rivers and small lakes have no problems. Thanks for the help, not much traffic about 3d in these forums these days :( The only other problem is the horizon line being at wrong depth which is very noticeable when you have a fog bank or a very overcast sky at lower altitudes. -

Hey mustang always wanted to ask you since your the expert on this environment and shader stuff. Is their any way to add a mirage aka heat blur effect to the ground? Wondering if that will be implemented in dcs 2.0 since official desert terrain is coming. Either way your work is amazing I can't tell you enough how awesome your works looks in 3d. Only problem I have in 3d is the horizon line will be at wrong depth with fog and the shore reflections will be wrong depth also. Wondering if you could point me in direction of what I would have to change via lua to correct that or totally turn off the shore reflections. Awesome work! Have to say with this .12 patch it even looks better -
I agree with the don't say dumb things and be constructive. Constructive criticism is the best tool in the tool box to getting the low down on exactly what is and what is not working. Or in this case maybe tweaks to an graphics engine or physics changes here and their. No one should fear that one should embrace it and perform better and blow people's expectations out of the water next time Those in military are very well versed in this. Anyways to get back on topic those two picks posted from Facebook look epic! Love the depth of field interested to see how it will work in 3d and or the rift.

Ya I agree but you never know. Either way 2.0 looks awesome in the current map so it will be great to explore and dogfight it out with the shiny new clouds and hopefully som sweet grass!

Well according to previous news letters Nevada and Hormuz where stated to be released winter of 2014. But with the most recent newsletter it's not looking very probable. Only time will tell but I sure hope Nevada and 2.0 come out end of December.

If you have nvidia and the horsepower try nvidia dsr and run at a higher resolution. Can't wait for nvidia to enable DSR for 3dvision. Word is you can use it with the rift and helps out quite a bit. My oculus was about to ship but cancelled after hearing all the low res problems. I'll pick up the official one and hopefully all the teething issues will be mostly fixed. So give dsr a try

I agree would love something more intuitive for jtac observer role. The whole sniper as far as engagement I don't see this happening but one can dream
