You didn't salute did you.....! I think default is "Control S"............ Look it up under "Options". .................Ya gotta salute

If I were you I'd just buy the Thrustmaster TWCS throttle to go with the WartHog because it has finger pedals on it that you can assign as the real pedals. I use it with a VKB GLadiator Pro and I am pleased with the system. I never would have need or want, my feet operating pedals on the floor. I like my feet up on my easy chair.

fixed Updated DCS - "Authorization failed"
Captain Chuck replied to LOW_Hitman's topic in Installation Problems
I am getting the same problem as everyone else......so it is not fixed yet. It this random? Can some people log in and others not? EDIT: I just got in but it took some time ...yay! But only a few of my Favorite servers in MP are listed yet....and hardly anyone is on those severs. ALSO: The Added Velocity Search (VS) mode for the Radar in the F-18 that is supposedly just added does not appear in my F-18 -

What happened to WWII Assets pack for N'44?
Captain Chuck replied to YoYo's topic in DCS: Normandy 2.0
I'll sell you mine! I bought them before I knew what they were. -
You already have a license for this product

Here: And here too: This is good explanation too -
Yeah I think they jumped the gun on this change! I haven't even even tried slewing weapons with it like this yet. I can see how that would make it near impossible to lock on to a tank or truck or something. Especially if it's moving.
-
In the meantime, I just got back from flying my beautiful but primative P-51D.....I could get used to that again!
-
Thank you for that. Please, pass it on to your marketing team that the shortcut they have taken is a mistake.

Your solution is that because you have "good hardware" then everyone must have good hardware just to have this one thing about DCS as you like it. When the real solution is for ED to design the sim so we can ALL go to settings and change the speed of the TDC for each function according to out needs so we can ALL have DCS as we like it. We don't need to upgrade our hardware from mid-range to ultra high end, just as we don't all need to rush out and buy the latest high-end gaming PC & outfit.. If ED was to take that approach the player base would be very small indeed.

Hey guys........the TDC Slew is now WAY too fast! It's realisticly unusable. They fixed nothing for the Radar...they made it worse. Unusable! It's WAAAAAY to sensitive now. If they want to change it they should make it adjustable in the settings.
-
Well...I'm as pissed as you are about this. I now have to spend so much time with my head in the radar dinking around with the cursor that I get shot down by every half-assed pilot. Maybe I'll have to take up The Air Warfare Group's offer to fly WWII Mustang with them istead.
-
Intended?..... That's crazy! ......It's too fast for me to move and lock on to. That means either I can't shoot a missile at anyone or slewing the TDC on the SA page will be like pouring molasas. They just did this with the last update, right?
-
HI, Since the very last OB update a couple of days ago - F-18 Hornet The TDC slew when using the Hornet radar has become really fast. For instance, when slewing across the screen to place the cursor over a target it travels quite fast now and is hard to be precise with it. In fact it is unusable because it has become so sensitive. I have the TDC slew set to a mini-stick but it is the same using keyboard commands. It was not like this until I downloaded the update yesterday. Of course, I tried fine tuning it in the control settings but that also slowed down the TDC when using it on the SA page to ridiculously slow. It is only the radar that has this problem. I haven't tested it out on any other aircraft. .....and only in Multi-Threading.

Hi, I just went back there again and he was facing the correct way this time.
-
Just got the latest update a few minutes ago and found one bug on the Abraham Lincoln in MP. On Catapult 4 the Yellow Shirt standing on the cat track directing me is facing the bow of the ship instead of me.
-
I will certainly check that out the next time it happens. Just to rule the stick out 100%! However I still think it is more likely to be something else, as all trim functions cease to have any effect though operated by keyboard.
-
....and the Track would provide no additional information. ..Yeah.... ! DID you end up having to restart the dcs to get back to normal...or ...... just try another server or mission?
-
Nope...there is no other axis accidentally assigned to any trim functions. Just the standard default keyboard bindings and the ones I assigned to the hat on my throttle. Both work normally most of the time. When this problem occurs I restart DCS to fix it because when this problem occurs it will happen every time I restart the mission or select role when in multiplayer. It's only happened in the F-18. Because it seems to fix itself and doesn't happen that often it's almost impossible to reproduce. If anybody else's trim at the start of a flight is frozen into a position that pitches or rolls the plane in some random direction I'd like to hear about it.
-
The HOTAS trim does not work. The HOTAS stick works. Nothing works the Trim Pitch or roll. Everything else in the sim works as normal..... meaning....wait for it......it's a bug.....that's why I am reporting it!
-
Unfortunately, it can't explain the total freeze of trim controls while flying though.
