It's a beta. Sometimes that's required during the beta phase. The patch works flawlessly for most of the users. With your setup something is wrong. Just need to try to figure out what that is, sometimes starting from scratch is the way to do that. Good luck, I hope Panzer's suggestions work for you.

To get 720p, just make sure your resolution is set to 1280x720 (or larger). Fraps records huge uncompressed AVI files, so yeah you definitely need to run it through something like Windows Live Movie Maker or Vegas or something to render it out smaller. :)

Not having to wait two more weeks for another possible delay is well worth the extra $100 I spent.

Gisen, tried the suggestions from the link ArtMan posted? Any of those (full screen first) work for you? Also, have you tried a full install of the pre-patched Beta 2 client? All Windows updates installed?

He meant that the A-10C, the plane the stick was modeled after, is a US made plane. The expectation being that US customers would want the stick first. Just like if you created a Eurofighter Typhoon replica stick, European gamers would probably be more interested in it since it's a plane they are probably more familiar with.

If you're going to show text you really need to record in at least 720p. :) Text is nearly unreadable at 480p. It would be helpful to explain which OSB and UFC buttons you're pressing and why. As in how to, step by step, actually enter rather than just saying "I'm going to enter this now". Generally helpful video, but needs more details and resolution. :)

"LWin" means the Windows key on the left side of the spacebar, not L key and Win. :)

Once you made the mark, confirmed by glancing at the CDU, you can switch the SteerPoint knob on the right side low panel to MARK, then you can use the SteerPoint rocker on the UFC, left side, to cycle through.

Thanks for that update pgh2atl! Since I'm so impatient paying a bit extra to get it two weeks early was worth it for me. :)

Make sure you selected Player for your A-10 and that your start times are all the same and match the mission start time.
