  1. Coolie Hat Right Long. :)
  2. Touchy much? Lets not assume I was talking about ED, which I wasn't. :joystick: I'm talking about companies like UbiSoft which did away with printed manuals in order to "make them more robust" since they could now spend more money on making them better instead of printing them. Also the general lack of quality of manuals in most games over the last decade or so. However, when you look at the mess of a manual for Silent Hunter 5 (essentially a "simulator") you can see that not all companies put as much effort into their digital distribution manuals as they did their printed manuals, nor as much as ED does theirs. I'm also pretty sure that ED could sell a color print manual for a lot less than $300 per, which is what it costs to print out the current beta manual at a local print shop. :)
  3. Been about a week, did I miss the first video?
  4. PDFs are great for companies to spend less on printing a quality manual, and eventually less on even creating a quality manual (or in some cases actually creating one at all!), which they can spend on marketing you a more costly game with less quality and content all around!
  5. Don't need TARGET for A-10C thankfully. :)
  6. As I said in my other post, don't map "G" to anything. Map the Toggle Landing Gear Up/Down under A-10C Sim / Systems / Throttle to JOY BTN15 on the Throttle (that's the Left Throttle Button). Open Options, click on Controls, select the A-10C Sim dropdown, select the Systems dropdown, scroll till you see Toggle Landing Gear Up/Down, click the field for that selection under the Throttle Column to highlight it, click on Add at the bottom, press the Left Throttle Button till you see JOY BTN15 fill in the key field. Click OK, click OK, enjoy.
  7. I've already told you in another thread, but you need to explain exactly what you want. Do you want to map the in game command of "Left Throttle Button" to the "G" key, meaning when you press "G" you'll get the same effect as if you had pressed the real life "Left Throttle Button", ie enable Autopilot. Essentially pressing "G" to turn on Autopilot. Or did you want to be able to press the physical button on the left throttle of your shiny new WH in order to lower the landing gear in game? The first is under A-10 Sim / HOTAS / Keyboard the second is under A-10 Sim / Systems / Throttle
  8. haha, me too! Actually getting used to it! :pilotfly::joystick:
  9. Options -> Controls -> A-10C Sim / Systems -> Map Toggle Landing Gear Up/Down to JOY BTN15 on Throttle HOTAS Warthog.
  10. There is a Lua profile for Keyboard, Throttle and Joystick. You need to make sure you click in the correct column. When I first got mine I clicked on keyboard and loaded my Joystick settings and lost all my keycommands!! Just make sure you're clicking in the right column (any command is fine, as long as it's the right column) and picking the right lua file.
  11. Landing mission doesn't exist yet, that's why it's crashing. :) My sig has a quick little mission if you wanted to test landing.
  12. Not sure how to do the weapon. :)
  13. I started to lose at 20,000 the other night. Switched to 100% OXY and all was well.
  14. TMS Aft Long in all SOI will move the SPI to your current Steerpoint. China Hat Aft Long in all SOI will slew the TGP to your current Steerpoint.
  15. There are default lua files in your install. Open Options -> Controls -> click in the column you want to reload to default, click LOAD PROFILE then find the default.lua file:
  16. You can use basically any condition. There's also a SMOKE MARKER ON UNIT option or even SIGNAL FLARE options as well for airborne targets. As Ragtop showed, there's more than one one way to carpet bomb this orphanage. :)
  17. Sorry I wasn't clear. I didn't have problems with any joysticks, I just kept upgrading to the latest and greatest! :) :joystick:
  18. Place a Zone where you want the map. Setup a trigger with the following settings:
  19. Why are you leaving a known MLRS alive long enough to reload? :)
  20. Google is your friend.
  21. Same for me, but I was 5th or 6th in line. :) Seemed really neat having to taxi in line like that. This was the Devil's Cross Campaign, first mission. Just tried Georgian Hammer's first mission and that crashed too. I'd just overflown the first area with enemies, been hit and was turning around when everything got quiet then crash.
  22. Here's a map of the available Beta2 parking spaces for the Sochi-Adler International Airport. Note that three of them are instant death if you start in them. :) Hope this is helpful to someone:
  23. Great! I can say I've never used one yet, looking forward to learning about them. Thanks.
  24. It's amazing and it'll last you 10 years. I've been through countless CH and TM and MS joysticks and two sets of Saitek in the last 10 years, costing way more than my new WH. :joystick: It's definitely a big purchase, but it's also a very long term purchase.
  25. Ahh, guess you can't do that anyway, once you select Client the others in the flight are AI only. Nice. It would be really awesome if there was a way to copy waypoints though. :) :joystick:
