    I have not played the test mission (not having learned the Viper yet) but the campaing and mission Docs that come with it....OMG! They themselves are already a piece of art!

    I have now replayed mission 10 and it is now in parts unplayable due to BIFF staying in formation. When you are asked to go into trail for the aiming training, he will not fly ahaed but try to stay in formation which leads to a turning fight. This was not the same when I played the campaign for the first time, something must be broken since then with one of the updates.

    While flying the campaign a second time, I noticed that BIFF does not anker anymore but stays in formation all the time. For example when he is supposed to anker over Truckstop before landing or in mission 8 he also stays in formation for all the gun strafing rounds. I am pretty sure he did anker when I was playing it the first time.

    Yes I could replicate it, the shallow water texture has the same bug in Syria. Tested it with two different PCs and headsets, the lines are visible on both systems.

    Exactly right, I had 4: Keyboard, Mouse, Mousepad and the Tartarus. Seems Razer does not want people to buy too many of their stuff, very nice of them!

    Hey Miles, only in some way by getting rid of my Razer Tartarus and replacing it with a cheap keypad by Reddragon. Could not get the Tartarus and the APBs work together.

    What currently helps is to change the Message Font entry in the Options.lua to 0.1. It should look like this then: ["messagesFontScale"] = 0.1,

    For some strange reason, Text messages now appear in the middle of the screen rather than in the top right corner like they used to. This only happens when Vaicom is active. Does anybody know how to change the position of the text again?

    I have reinstalled the campaign but with no change. I then uninstalled the Rising Squall campaign, and this brought up the correct skins. So somehow the Rising Squall campaign interferes with yours. I am running the latest OB with no mods. Another thing I noticed is that there is an AH64D launching from the cruiser right next to the carrier in the same mission, I don´t know if this is intended? Normally Apaches should not be part of a cruiser.

    Thanks a lot! I mirrored all your settings but still have the effect of the lines running through the image. It is solely related to the shallow water texture on the PG map. I have not noticed it anywhere else and it came with the latest update of the map with 2.8

    I did some further testing. The problem does not seem to specifically related to the Razer Tartarus. The APBs disappear as soon as I plug in any other gamecontroller. May it be an additional Joystick or Gamepad. So somehow they push Pointctrl out of the list. Is there a way to give priorities in Windows?

    I tried it with the latest 3 Nvidia drivers. My old PC had a 3090, the new one a 4090. The bug kept being the same. It is hardly visble in 2D. Best way to see it is in VR with an overcast preset, there it is really obvious. This is what I see:

    I had originally posted this bug in the VR section. I just built a new PC: New graphics card, new CPU, new Mainboard. Fresh install of Windows and completely fresh install of DCS without any mods. The Bug is still present and most obvious with overcast wheather preset.

    Yes I did run it as admin 2x but the result kept being the same. Its sad, Razer makes good Hardware but the Software part is a catastrophe

    Thank you very much! Unfortunately I was not able to get them working together. As soon as I plug the Tartarus back in, the APBs are gone again. I guess I will toss the Tartarus for another brand that will hopefully be less difficult

    I hope maybe somebody here can help me out. I just built a new PC. I have Pointctrl with the APBs. For some reason, when I have plugged in my Razer Tartarus mini Keypad, the APBs are no longer showing up as Gamecontrollers. When I unplug the Razer Tartarus, the APBs show up again. So there seems to be a conflict now which has not been there on my old PC before. Changing the USB ports has not solved the issue. Also deactivating the Razer Tartarus as a gamecontroller had no effect. Is somebody here who had a similar issus or has an idea how to solve it? Many thanks in advance!

    I did some further testing and the bug seems to be related just to the shore water texture (the greenish one) on the PG map. It is not visible over darker water or over land.

    Have you followed all guidelines of the 2.8 fix posted on discord?

    We all don’t know, we just have to wait. But I think the project has much better chances now that the whole community can work on it rather than one single developer.
