  1. I was pretty sure it was, but maybe I am mistaken.
  2. I still have the RWR contacts shown in the HMD though the setting "HUD" is off in the RWR and it does not show them on the HUD. These settings were connected before, if "HUD" was off, it also did not show the RWR contacts in the HMD. Currently I see no option to turn them off in the HMD. Even the REJ2 setting does not declutter them and RWR contacts are being shown..
  3. Great! I actually managed to find the carrier without Tacan, so already moved on in the campaign Is there some kind of donation link? The campaign is easily on par with the best paid ones.
  4. Small Bug recognized in Mission 8: TACAN commad was not set at the carrier, so no carrier TACAN in this mission. Making it a bit difficult to find in a sand storm
  5. I was on a Case III recovery and the IFLOLS was not visible at all. Looking at the carrier it seems the lights are pointed to the opposite site (the bow). Makes landings almost impossible. Is this a general bug or just my system?
  6. Yeah the problem is now, that you can´t rely on player intelligence to choose the cat, it is being defined by the AI. And the AI is just not seeing statics and ignores them. I think ED will have to work on it, otherwise you have to clear the deck on pretty much all statics that might interfere with cats and the ways to them.
  7. Just tried mission 4 a couple of times. Some problems I faced: - The SA2 site was never attacked. In the mission briefing it was said it would be attacked by Tomahawks, but this never happens. It is always active. - The F-14s don´t really protect the strike. They turn back to the carrier immediately after they attacked the first wave of scrambled jets and let the strike planes cope with all the other bandits that sramble afterwards leaving UZI flight in a knife fight with F-5s and F-4s.
  8. In mission 3 I found a problem with the static aircraft at the bow. You were supposed to take off from cat 3 or 4 but with the new deck crew, they order you to take off from cat 1 which is blocked by parked aircraft. Unfortunately you can´t choose your cat anymore, you have to go where they tell you. I fixed it by deleting the LUA file that places the bow aircraft. Awesome mission again!

  13. Yeah seems the updates are slowly breaking all the carrier commands. Which is a pitty as you are normally in a time critical situation and fiddeling with the comms menues is kind of "dangerous"
  14. In Mission 1 I faced an issue with the f-14s taking off as support. They were directed to Cat 1&2 which are then blocked by parked airplanes. So the F-14 also blocked the runway causing a foul deck when I returned. Otherwise: extemely high qual mission!!!
  15. The funny thing is, I just had a wave off due to a foul deck and the wave off lights at the IFLOLS actually work, so why is there a need for these red flares?
  16. Just found out that the "See you at 10" command also is not processed. Vaicom does recognize it, but it is not accapted by the game. Only when I give the command via the normal Radio Options. Anybody else sees this error?
  17. I was on a perfect pass but then my LSO shot me down with a flare!
  18. Maybe some kind of extremely nervous LSO AI that only accepts 100% OK passes?
  19. Yes looks exactly as in my case. Never seen it before. But I understand from your message, that it does not shoot flares in all cases?
  20. I noticed that short before touchdown, the carrier is shooting two red flares from the LSO plattform. Is that a feature or a bug? I was always dead on Meatball and catching a 3 wire, so shouldn´t be a signal for waveoff...
  21. This was announced before. MIght come back. With the new plane directors only the tue Supercarrier CV will have the deck crew for the time being.
  22. Il2 has no clickable cockpits, so even if it would, it would not have any benifit
