  1. I did all that and it still doesn't work. When I go into the protect.exe it even says that it is deactivated. I give up.
  2. No, I activated with the protect.exe. As I tried to start with me in the cockpit, it didnt't ask for a serial the time I tried it without using the exe. And what do you mean with the $ sign at the desktop icon? Never had that. It never crashed, I am just not in the cockpit, just like when your copy of the game isnt activated. So whats the process of installing Black Shark with DCS World when I have BS1+BS2 upgrade? I just cant get it to work. Will I get a BS2 serial instead?
  3. Hello, I try to get my BS1 + BS2 upgrade to work with DCS World, but I just can't manage to do so. I installed BS1 in a different folder, activated it, and then I used the upgrade, which automaticly used the DCS World folder for installation. I activated that too, so I thought it should work. But it doesn't. Can't you guys just give people like me who bought BS1 and the BS2 upgrade a new serial so we can implement it into DCS World?
  4. If a company wants to do serious business, they shouldn't use a facebook page. Facebook isn't made for stuff like this.
  5. I know exactly that new fighter jet game you are talking about, but I can't remember the name of it.
  6. Hah! Looks just like Arma 2.
  7. This is one time where it would be adequate to say: "Do a barrel roll!" When you zig zag, there are always parts in your flight path where you are flying straight. And that is when the AAA kills you.

Including sub marine operations you could make some awesome missions. Maybe a few stealth missions like in OFP...
  9. Then tell her that having 100 pairs of shoes is a waste too. Or how about having fun? That is a waste too. Instead of having fun you could work more and get more money.
  10. Does autorotation work on that thing?
  11. Is radio Georgia accurately simulated in A10C?
  12. Let´s compare the A10C module with the P51 module. With the A10C you have a combat air craft which fits the theatre, including multiple campaigns, complex avionics, many different weapons, much stuff to learn. You can put many more hours into the Warthog than into the P51. What is in the package of P51? The plane and not much else. You don´t have a fitting theatre for it, no opponent to fight but another P51. You can´t build realistic missions or campaigns with it. It is still the same theatre which is as old as the Flanker series. At least with the FSX modules you can fly all over the world. There are just not as many possibilities with it. I thought that P51 was more of a little side project, which didn´t use up many resources, which would put the price down. Of course people will now call me a cheap asshole, who screams for free 2 play, while thinking that Call of Duty is the best thing ever. I am not. I bought the Flankers, Lock On, Black Shark 1&2, A10C, pretty much anything by ED. But I am also not a blind fanboy and I am not complaining. I am just giving my feedback why I think that the product is too expensive for some people.
  13. Well, I don't buy any of those expensive entertainment packs for FSX. Because they are expensive.
  14. Why does the IAS decrease that much? The pitot tube that is used for measuring the pressure and calculate the IAS. But as the atmosphere becomes less dense, the wings itself have less resistance at the same TAS. So you fly faster, to have the same lift as at lower altitudes. But when you fly faster, the pressure in the tube itself should increase again, showing a higher IAS. On a different topic, I would gladly buy P51 right now if you tell me that the next module will be the F/A18C! :)
  15. On page 110 of the manual, there is a graphic with the IAS of the P51 at different heights. As it goes higher, it decreases. But shouldnt the true air speed be higher than the indicated? You have less dense atmosphere, so the plane should have to fly faster to have the same lift at lower altitudes... Back on topic, I will wait for a few videos, maybe some multiplayer footage to think about it. My birthday is on 4th of May, so it is kinda early. Maybe someone gifts it to me :D
  16. It doesn't seem that the P51 module has much bang per buck like the other modules, especially since preorder prices used to be cheaper. What possibilities does it have? Are the 40 dollars justified?
  17. Eddie can't break my heart anymore, some girl already did :) Not getting into the range of the SAMs is the best way to avoid it of course. Sending in SEAD craft to do their job is the way to go. I have flown a few flight sims with fastmovers, and they all have the ability to dodge missiles with their energy. I just train for the worst possible situation, that is when the SAM is already in the air. So Split S are pretty much a waste of energy. Time for some barrel rolling.
  18. Or maybe the A10 only has 3 lives? Time to introduce the Tomcat with 9 lives! How many lives a Hornet might have... (I want DCS: F/A18!)
  19. So I finally came to the point of training against SAMs. I heard that the easiest way to train approaches is to make a mission with a single SA-8. I did that, started it, and after nailing the evasion tactic (thought so at least), I noticed that doing a Split-S while jamming and chaffing will work only the first 2 times, the third will hit unless you out curve the missile (nearly impossible with an A10c). Tacview files are here. http://www.sendspace.com/file/ut6yh6 Can you help me improve my technique?
  20. When DCS F/A18C comes out, I will have enough time and money to build a pit myself.
  21. Too bad the canadian F18 are getting older and older.

    ArmA III

What I dislike about Arma is the problem with concealment. You prone down into the high grass and should be invisible from a distance. But the grass just disappears and you are visible like a firecracker. And in this video, you can see that immediately after firing their silenced sniperrifles, the enemy troops not only see them, but shoot at them pretty accurately for the range of 1000 meters. But thats all the AI.
  23. I don't think so, Tim.
  24. You pay some film studio a multimillion dollar and tell them to make a movie about it?
