For me it wouldn't add any immersion. Rather an obstacle to fly the plane.

I would rather have the air flowing around the wings.

But you can change the payload just like in lock-on. I dont know what problems you have, but for me, I place my plane in the Mission Editor, and then press the loadout button. Then you get all these premade loadouts, and can make a new one. In a mission itself, I dont know if you can customize the payload that the ground crew can give you.

Looks like its flying like it is on rails. I like the Flight model of DCS A10C more.

Do you use the higher texture resolution pack for the ground clutter?

But what if you got manpads on the way to the target? If some of those bastards stands on the top of one of those houses? Btw, can you place manpads on the top of houses?

And how about the LOD? I mean, dont the vehicles all disappear after a few km, because you wouldnt see them normally anyway? So if you zoom in with the binocs, will they even be there?

I haven't noticed anything wrong. But I got a suggestion on your flying, drink a bit vodka, then your hands autotrim the plane by themselves.

Flying with Jets is a bit different - I used to simply outmaneuver the 3 missiles they launch. But in DCS A10C, its a bit more problematic as you dont have the Thrust to Weight ratio, and there maybe some IR launching Manpads in the near area.

That A10 looked really strange, and it had twin 30mm cannons? And that F14/15 Tomeagle? And that Tornadoharrier?

If you bought it retail, just shoot some photos with the disc and yourself and send it to steam, maybe they help you. Do you have a receipe?

Bling Bling. Can you make a model with spinning rims for the landing gear? And gold plated speedbrakes? I also suggest new ammunition type made of gold. Those enemies will want to be shot with that! You won't even have to aim anymore!

So you want to play a flight simulation without a joystick? But isnt that the point of a flight simulation? To simulate that stuff pretty realistic? Ever seen a Hog driver flying just with a keyboard?

Then you should be excited because this game is made by Bohemia Interactive, known for their War Simulation series Arma and the first Operation Flashpoint (that started it all). If they really make it one large planetary map with many big islands which you try to conquer in one big dynamic war, just like the old game, then I will buy this. I will never ever preorder something (but DCS modules) because every developer today tries to get all the casual gamers to buy their game, which will dumb down the game itself.

Why should we not care? Of course we care! If more and more people like this simulation and spread the word, more and more people will buy it which will give ED more resources to make even better Flight Sims!
