Yesterday I flew a bit with the A10, and thought about chasing some power lines. It seems I underestimated the A10s wingspan, and lost the left wing. In such a low height I immediately kissed mother earths ugly face without even saying hello. She did not like it. Not. One. Bit. I thought you cant lose a wing by clipping some powerlines? Could someone clear that up for me?

The infinity engine has the same problem of low resolution textures when you are upclose. Its better in DCS A10C though. You cant have ARMA2 detailed terrain with the viewing distance of DCS A10C with todays technology. Also, I dont see that size problem you are talking about.

If it is a strike craft, what kind of weapons can it employ? and how many? If they have to put them on pylons it would render the stealth capability useless.

My gut feeling tells me this plane is a halfbaked potatoe. Does it have thrust vectoring? What about the building materials? Do they allow stealth properties? Some round looks, some edges... It looks like they didnt do proper research. The plane just looks damn big, should it intercept big bombers? Reminds me of Mig31 and F14. Maybe its just that the cockpit looks small.

You all know that DCS means Digital Combat Simulator? It even says in the title. It will be a weaponized combat aircraft no matter what. There is FSX if you dont like war.

Where do you read F-16?

I am really getting tired of the Rush mode and Metro map.

The F15E can carry more tonnage of weapon than the A10C.

Just LOMAC but that doesnt seem to be possible.

In my first post I didnt know that LOMAC is still owned by Ubisoft, so I assumed that it can be added to my store account. You told me that won't work because Ubisoft still owns LOMAC. Why can't I add my retail version of LOMAC to my online store account?

I didnt mean the LOMAC full version, but the FC2 full version, that doesnt need LOMAC preinstalled.

I meant LOMAC, good that they dont need a cdkey because I only have the CD. Upgraded to FC2 and it seems to work. But when I only bought the update to FC2, can't I just show them my LOMAC CD and get the full version for download?

Is it possible to add the retail box version of Lock on to my Customer account? Would be good in case I lose my CD

Why not just moving the external camera slighty to the LEFT? then you can stitch them together without swapping.

Who says that the human pilot has to be the one who turns the tide of war? Ever flown Falcon 4.0? You could set the dynamic campaign on autopilot, and the war would be won by NATO forces everytime. You are just one bullet in a whole magazine of hurt. I have never seen a dynamic campaign with emphasis on having the human play an important role in it. Dynamic campaigns are more about the feeling THAT you are just one of many, working together to finish it.

Thats not true. Ever seen air race competitions? I dont think there are rules which disqualify you if you get over 7 G.

Off course it is. And I find it stupid trying to mod a civil flightsimulation into a combat flightsim. But thats not the point. Most people enjoy the graphics and the possibility to fly all around the globe.

I think one major point is that you have the whole earth as your sandbox. Who wouln't like flying with the F22 through the grand canyon?
