On the other hand, there is nothing that prevents you from doing the same thing (180+AB). They almost always fire all their AIM120 missiles and have to land and rearm. Follow them on EOS and get your silent kill with R-27ET. Servers are not full of spammers as one might think, reading this topic. Many of you also forget how it was when you were noobs. They have to fly without labels, they see that people use Teamspeak and can cooperate where they are all alone, they still don't understand how avionics & missiles work, engagment tactics are totaly mistery, they get locked and no wonder they get freaked out, start spamming and just try to stay alive. If they manage to get a kill, i bet they have a big smile on their faces, because more then less, they get killed by us before they reach their destination. Because of that kill, they'll fly more off-line, start to read and learn more about air-warfare and our community will grow. And we need fresh blood, we need to encourage them and not push they away, like we are an elite and they are shaimless basta*ds. I needed 2 years to comprehend what the he11 is going on. It's a hard game. That's why the sim community is so small, escpecially when it comes to jets. LOMAC on-line is really scary game. I can't even imagine how did pilots of Yugoslavia feel when they took off. Or Iraqi pilots. Or any pilot for that matter.

When i fight, i don't want to give my enemy ''50/50 chance'' , i want him killed. Period. Even if that means crashing into them, shooting them down when they are trying to land, etc. I am only against shooting pilots when they eject. Your claim that giving you a chance of fighting back is ''proper military tactics'' is MODESTLY said, funny. You can only blaime your squadmates for not giving you a proper air-cover! THEY are the one that are not employing proper air-tactics! If they are not up to the job, stop flying that A-10, get in F-15 and do their job. But it seems to me that you are more eager to get that ''fun'' Vikhr air-kill to brag about. War is not a sport of gentlemen, it's about winning and killing enemy with any means - just as you killled your opponents with A2G missile, you noob (being sarcastic)- usually overwhelming them, so that there is minimal damage to your force. May i mention recent war that is goin' on? How about kamikazi pilots? THAT is a fact! If you're not up to it, it's best that you leave that server too, and find one, that is more friendy (not likely) or join an acrobatic group. Dying is not fun, but blaming the adversary for your death - that's just lack of character in my book.

It wasn't directed at you, personally. So if i understand correctly, you would like to give each team certain amount of money which they can spend - similar to Counter Strike? It would make campains more interesting if there were limited sources of weapons. Carry on....

I don't understand why people whine about spamming missile - it's their choice to do so. If you get killed by a spammer, it's your fault that it happened. And if he missed, you get you chance to get him. It's that simple. Just don't whine around, you are only making fool out of yourself, 'cause you were killed by a noob. Be a man and soak it up!

Agree. Besides amphibious units it would be great to see desant units - whole new strategic and tactical ball-game. Nothing really new to be added, planes and units are all there.

Isn't the Su-33 more like russian version of the F-18, than F-15. Besides, giving the Su-33 double rack shouldn't be such a big deal. If they modeled all the other a2g ordinance, i don't see why it couldn't/shouldn't be added. They're just unguided rockets, not some super-futuristic weapons like KH-41 is. Besides, why did ED take out the posibilty to fire AGM-88/45 from F-16 (MiG-29 in 1.02). I had a few SEAD missions that were really fun and can't play them anymore. I don't care if F-16 it's not ''modeled correctly'' - i still had to use some real life tactics to engage SAM sites and it was fun-fun-fun. ED should really give us at least opportunity to fly and fight those half modeled AI planes even if they are not 100% correct. I want my HARMs back and at least some way to fire Mavricks. Am i really asking too much?

Air is also cooler, which adds to higher entropy of the burning process. Like intercooler or NOS in a car.

I forgot to tell that KUB is covered with Buk and Strela sites. If South Africans really did that mission, they are crazy as hell and very skillfull. I managed eventually, after about 15 trys today, low-level - i'm exhausted. In the end i changed my approach, behind the mountains, was chased by 2 MiG-23's and with 7 missiles on my tail when exiting the SAM covered site. Really nerve wrecking mission. Luck was a big factor. And once again the AI performed terribly -i lured the MiG's to chase me so that they wouldn't see the second package that was coming behind me - they took the bate, only that the following MiG-29's didn't fire a single missile at them and they were 6 miles behind them, on their 6 o'clock position. Tnx for the tips, it did help.

In 3rd mission from ''South Africa in Angola'' you have to bomb the KUB str site with MiG29. I have tryed every approach - low level and above 8000m, but they always get me. I keep on turning on/off my ECM so that those SA-13 go ballistic after they launch, but they do get a lock eventually. Any good tips would be much appreciated. And no, Su-25T is out of the picture, it has to be a MiG.

First - 30% in New Orleans live below poverty - this is a disgrace for US. How can this be ? Second - if they are so poor, i am really not surprised that they didn't leave the city. Where could they possibly go? Goverment should really be prepared for this much better then it was/is. Facts are facts and they were not dealt with in apropriate time. It's horrible...

Well i don't know about you, but 24 JDAM bombs don't sound boring to me, especially going SS in night and then flying home NOE in something as big as B1-B is. The view from cockpit with NVG has to be spectaciular (ah, spelling l33t's :) IMHO ofcourse.

Is dxrenderer.dll from 1.00 still interchangable with dxrenderer.dll from 1.1 ?
