My trusty X45 started to flash LEDs on the throttle. I've found out that the loose connection in the connector is to blame. I need to cut the connector that comes from throttle and change it for a new one. The problem is that I don't know the correct sequence of the wiring. If someone knows which color goes into which hole, I would very much appreciate. Right now, I can't fly as I want to and I miss LOMAC :surrender:

And some long range (30-40km) balistic rockets, please.

Agree with jessi, I also extensively use F-16 mod and enjoy it every minute. I know it's MiG-29 underneath, but as long as I can hang F-16 weapons like AGM-88/45, then I don't care. I do fly F4AF twice a week, but F4 just knocks me off, with that 2D cockpit. If only it had functional 3D cockpit, I could enjoy it much more. As long as I can fly dressed only in my underwear, I really don't care so much if it's not 100% realistic. What I always loved about LOMAC was good balance between reality and fun factor. I hope that wont be gone with BS, and it will have scalable heavyness, not just ''easy'' and ''ultra-realistic''. I would love to skip the start-up procedure and do it once in a while.

Sorry SuperKungFu, I'm blind and need a white cain. I could use a grid tutorial for A2G - I still haven't learned how to use this mode in LOMAC nor it is explained in the manual. Would someone be so nice to make a track, to show me how to use it?

That's Russian tech - you can repair their cars with a hammer and chisel, nothing fancy, all robust. Have you seen their runways, they are always full of grass and dirt, not like American which are routinely walked through for any debris.

Those other joysticks you linked are good enough only for casual games, which LOMAC definitely isn't. After time, you'll greatly appreciate the money well spend on a good HOTAS configuration and will start to save for a TrackIR - it's that much addictive :joystick::pilotfly:

O man, you just made me feel like a :clown_2: The only thing I have to deal with is, copy/pasting objects. Let's say I want to taxi trough airport full of static planes, do I really need to go through all the menus, just to place the same static plane besides the last one? I would also like to save some types of columns - I usually mix amour with pair of Shilkas in the back and front and a Tunguska in the middle. It would be nice to save them, just like you can save different types of ordinance for a/c, and just pick them up when i want from the menu.

Sorry everybody, but the mission editor is a major pain in the ... It's the only reason why I started playing F4AF! Just yesterday I wanted to make a Desert Storm kind of scenario, full of Patriot and Hawk bases, being attacked with mixed columns of Iraqi armor and planes. I had to micro manage every little unit and static object. You can't just copy/past a unit or static object, or assign defending zone to a unit. There are so many ways to improve and simplify mission editor, I don't even know where to start. You can't even change the time of day for designed mission - you can forget about playing the same mission in day or night, you need to repeat the whole process of designing the mission, just to change the time ?! In the end, I wasted a whole free evening and went to sleep, just to play it another day. It's really a test of patience and careful planning, and that's what I don't have a lot. I get home pretty tired after work, and even then I need to find some free time to sit down in front of my PC alone, just to play LOMAC... well, you can come to conclusion how I felt in the end :badmood: :crash:

Ooo, believe me, they will keep them - at this costs, they wont deliver on time, maybe not ever. This was the second source to my knowledge that stated 350 mill price tag. Now that is a lot of money, even for USA, which couldn't even afford some decent shielding for their troops in Iraq.

Like GG said, fly well above him and shot down with Aim-9. Spotting one is not as easy, but that's what happens in war - people die even if they do everything right.
