If DCS modules was more cheapier, more people would buy it, but the hardware needed to run DCS is another factor thats pushing people away. In shit hole countries like Brazil, you need to multiply by 4 times the dollar price. Too expensive. The most modules I have, I purchased before the economics crises in Brazil and I sold one of my kidney to purchase the GTX 1070 to run DCS. The sales is the best oportunity to get a new module for half price.

I have almost all modules. In these sales I purchased the F-14, but is too boring waiting until march to fly.

I don't edit missions, I'm user only. I connect in some servers like TTI, 104th, Buddy Spike, but this feature are generally disabled.

This later update is really too late. More than half decade and no multi crew yet.

I purchased these modules more than 6 years ago (2013). If they didn't make mult-crew until today, I think they don't do it anymore.

The Belsimtek sold the UH-1H and Mi-8MTV2 as mult-crew modules, but they failed to deliver that. I think they gave up.

I already tried to zoom in, zoom out, but the icon don't show.

I don't remember what version, but in the F10 map, it don't show the current air base icon to select. When select the icon, it's shown the air base details like runways, comm frequencies, ILS frequencies, TACAN channel, etc. Is there some work in progress about this feature? For me, it's very annoying don't have the air base details in hand to setup radios, TACAN, ILS, runway course and do other pre flight checks. PS: I can select all air bases, except that I was spawned.

I'm waiting to see how the RIO cockpit works to decide if I purchase it or not.

I flyed the instant action CASE I, CASE III and multiplayer on Through the Inferno. I setup like the other times, input the TACAN, input the ILCS, tried to input the COURSE (no course line displayed on HSI). It didn't localize the emitter, don't show the correct direction and distance to carrier and tanker. I was only reporting something wrong here, if it happen only with me, I'll be waiting for the next update to fix it.

It's in Open Beta. I tested several mission and all have the same problem. I don't know if it's only Hornet or other planes have the same problem.

Last flight, the TACAN, Course and ICLS were not working. Last update broke something.

I have almost the same setup you have, but I spent the equivalent of 2000 bucks to upgrade my rig to get the GTX 1070. I run smoothly at 60FPS 1080p with high settings, visibility range extreme, MSAA 4x, terrain shadows disabled and Vsync. I think the stutter maybe caused by loading stuff from HDD/SSD. Flying over Dubai or Las Vegas, my FPS drops below 60FPS, but I think it's normal. If I turn the MSAA 2x and visibility range to high I get 60FPS almost the time.

I already readed the last update. Thanks. For me, the best modules are A-10C, F/A-18C and AV-8B, because they can load a lot of different weapons, they have interesting avionics and sensors. The F-14 have a lot of displays in the cockpit, but I don't know how it works and how many funcionalities they offer. The complexity of these systems that makes the module interesting to pay for. I watched this video about the Aerosoft F-14, but it shows a few aircraft systems. The front cockpit looks only to have basic stuff. I would like to see videos explaning more features of the F-14 before the purchase.

The trailers looks very good, but I'm afraid the waste 70 bucks (it's like 300 bucks in brazilian currency). I would like to see more videos about the front and rear cockpit, systems, procedures, etc. before pre-purchase the F-14A/B, like the Wags videos about F/A-18C, step by step. Who (pre)purchased the Hornet knew what was buying. I tried to watch some videos of the Aerosoft F-14 to see how it works, but there's not too much about. Best regards.

I noticed in the lastest versions that there are something wrong with cockpit textures. The last update don't fix the issue and I don't see people asking about it. PS 1: I tried to restore DCS, but no success. PS 2: In the Options > Special > MiG-21bis, selecting the custom cockpit livery to English Metric fixes the issue. The problems is related to default cockpit livery.

I upgraded my rig to run @1080P 60FPS with high settings, but sadly I need to disable terrain object shadows to reach that performance all the time. My new VGA was recommended by ED to run with high settings, but if I fly over Dubai or Las Vegas with terrain object shadows, the FPS drops below 60FPS. If you want to increase FPS I recommend to disable SSAA, motion blur, clutter/grass and terrain object shadows. You can also turn off MSAA in DCS and use MSAA and FXAA filters with Reshade, but is not the same thing. https://reshade.me/

Because of the "downloads" folder, I can't update DCS anymore.

I have an 240GB SSD, when DCS updates, it downloads the packages into SSD drive thats almost full. I would like to suggest to the developer move the downloaded packages into %TEMP% folder, where I setted to my HDD drive that have enough free disk space. Best regards. PS: Is there a way to setup the location of the "_downloads" folder? OBS: I have more than 30GB free space in my SSD drive, but the "_downloads" folder is consuming the entire disk.

Somebody knows when will be released the DCS 2.5 stable version? I don't have enough free space disk to manage more than one installation. I uninstalled DCS 1.5 and DCS 2.2 to install DCS 2.5 Open Beta, but I prefer the stable version.

In Brazil, it's very expensive, but I had no problem to pay the pre-purchase price for a plane thats I'm waiting for years. I thought the Strait of Hormuz would be released first or together with Hornet in a combo.
