  1. +1 This would be nice if it served to replace and improve existing liveries. There are independent users who have shown to improve what is present. If a painting is better than the current one, I see no reason not to add it to the general library in place of the old one.
  2. I had this same problem and was ultimately forced to run four separate bombers, not grouped together, on the same route, to the same destination, and to the same target. In this way I made sure that in a single pass they devastated the entire area. I hope my template will help you edit a mission that finally reaches its goal. open it and study it. This does not mean that there is no error. Certainly artificial intelligence does some pretty strange things. Cyprus Defense.miz

    ECM XMIT

Unfortunately I don't have the recording track, but in recent tests with an enemy at 20,000 feet and 40 miles away and a cloud ceiling, he was up and I was down, seeing his attitude in the external view, activating XMIT, I was attracted like an insect through honey and activating REC, the enemy seemed to lose interest and return to passive search mode.
  4. You are not alone, I am closing DCS with task manager Ctrl+Alt+Supr
  5. Any solution for this? At least recognized as a bug?
  6. I support your comment. Currently I am forced to test the effectiveness of different weapons on certain targets before launching a mission, but this destroys the experience of the creator of the missions, who after each test, knows the exact point and moment in which the threats will appear, breaking the uncertainty. It is the case of my last mission, where GBU-12 was not able to stop a convoy with T-90 in movement. After more than ten tests, we opted to replace the GBU-12 with AGM-65F, but the mission was already burned for the creator.

    JDAM test

Indeed, it has to do with my speed. I have been stupid. The first bombs dropped are left behind and the last bombs dropped have less travel and higher vertical speed. Please don't be cruel to me =(

    JDAM test

Drop bomb 1 to the east. Ten seconds later, drop bomb two to the west. First hit bomb 2 to the west, second hit bomb 1 to the east. inverted sequence. But you're right, the second bomb can gain more speed by gaining more vertical descent closer to the target.

    JDAM test

I have observed in various JDAM tests that the last bombs dropped are the first to hit sequentially. This goes beyond logic, as when you drop the next bombs, the previous ones should already have traveled a few seconds. As an example, the first bomb dropped to the east hits after a subsequent bomb falls to the west ten seconds apart at the same distance. I suspect that somehow the sequence has been reversed. I think this should be checked internally for a bug, as I don't know how the actual Hornet works.
  10. Thank you! It takes me half a life to shoot down a BTR. With the Mirage2000 it was much easier.
  11. In a recent test for the air to ground gun with wind, the reticle does not calculate the wind, it is the pilot who must compensate for the drift, is this correct? I feel like the Hornet's ground attack modes have become imprecise.
  12. The surprising thing is that we do not have answers, I cannot understand it, we have provided clues, videos and there are several clients who have noticed this error. I would settle for a (seen for review) I ask no more.
  13. In fact it is not an error that only affects Supercarrier, it occurs in all airfields with low visibility, at least in Syria.
  14. Regardless of cloud height, this graphical defect should not occur and should be recognized as a bug and proposed for review and correction. This graphic error was not always there, it came after an update.
  15. I'm defending my base from a helicopter attack. Every time NASAMS loses control over the hostile helicopter, I become their target. It's frustrating to have the situation under control and explode in a ball of fire, check the history and see that I've been shot down by NASAMS again. EDIT: I am flying with UH-1H, IFF activated.

  17. The point is that we, at least I, am simulating the life of a pilot, not the life of a mechanic and it is assumed that when I leave my plane in the hangar, a mechanic prepares it for the next mission.
  18. Test Mi-24P Hydra.trk Don't use external views in playback to avoid desynchronization.
  19. The attack occurs in the air, not on the ground. The artificial intelligence Mi-24P takes four hits from Hydra and the minigun magazine is practically emptied, but it continues to fly. You finally let him go.
  20. The excessively resistant Mi-24P. You can drop four or six Hydra and forty minigun rounds on him without taking him down. I understand that the bodywork is armored, but a hit to the propellers wouldn't give it much chance of surviving.
  21. Good job with the enlargement. I've tried placing infantry on top of the Al-Tanf watchtowers and the units just go through the textures. It is not that there is much use in setting up guard posts, it is purely decorative, but it gives it realism.
  22. Makes sense.
  23. I don't quite understand what a Hummer is doing here. The M-109 is supposed to be an Artillery unit.
