  1. You have the answer a few posts up:
  2. Ok, thanks. Good to know it's acknowledged. Looking forward to see it solved in upcoming patches.
  3. How about refueling comms issues in MP? I posted a track showing wrong tanker response in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1264385&postcount=28 Also, tanker calls "disconnect" when a client is done instead of "transfer complete" and fuel tops around 8000 lbs, which I think is a bug. Tanker is still a bit rough when entering/exiting turns, which makes very difficult to stay connected during transitions. Any word on these particular issues for 1.1.1.0?
  4. And a BIG ONE I'd like to see solved: Track replay consistency
  5. And a few more: Jettison of external tanks is not synchronized between clients TGP head movement is not synchronized between clients (low priority, MP performance optimization?) Very low AIM-9 effectiveness against choppers (tested with AI controlled Ka-50s but may be the same against others) AI Ka-50 is too accurate using gun against aerial targets (your A-10). Probably the same with other gun-equipped choppers.
  6. I'll add two more on refueling: Tanker is still a bit rough when entering a turn during refueling Improve logic so we don't have to call "abort refueling" in MP after every aircraft of the same flight is done with the tanker (i'm afraid we need first multiple clients in same flight issue resolved)
  7. I've seen that too in 1.1.0.8 when my buddies fired mavs, but not now in 1.1.0.9. Could it be an MP only issue?
  8. It would be great to see these resolved: Comms issues with ATC: repeated messages Comms issues with tanker in MP: disconnect message for clients instead of refueling complete. Cannot top-off fuel tanks during refueling (tested only in MP) TGP North arrow indication bug (confirmed corrected for next patch) CDU OFFSET page WP creation bug GBU-31 LOD issue MK82AIR LDGP config not synchronized to clients in MP Multiple clients in same flight issue HOT default value show as 0 instead of WP elevation (cycle WP for a workaround) MWS not warning of friendly missiles (dunno if it's really a bug, but I recall seeing it confirmed somewhere in the forums)
  9. You're both wrong. You should inform yourself before making those stupid assumptions. I'm not falcon mafia nor groupie. If you look at my previous messages you should see that I'm deeply involved into testing and flying this simulator. I'm part of a virtual squadron that flies both F4 and DCS: A-10C and I'm only active on A-10C wing because I like it more. It's just that my admiration for this sim doesn't prevent me to see good things on the other. And at least it's my opinion, if you like it or not. I'm not here to convince. You've made wrong assumptions about my preferences and put me automatically into stupid groups. My last post on this thread. I'll have more care in the future to not name Falcon in these forums.
  10. Ok, I'll give up argumenting about that, it is very clear that F4 DC is worse than nothing.
  11. I actually like the realism as much as you and there are many falconeers out there that will subscribe this. However, they enjoy the F4 style engine and they don't think it's worthless.
  12. You are right with DC vs real time campaign engine. Replace DC with "real time campaign engine" in my previous posts and you'll see my point. While we have a realistic flying experience I don't care so much about realistic real time campaign engine. I'd priorize the entertainment perspective over realistic experience for now.
  13. Sorry, I don't see how having a DC engine could make the software unrealistic. I think, like many others, that it would be fun. Nothing more, nothing less. You'll still have ME and mission generator if you don't want to see the bigger picture.
  14. A DC engine is not a random mission generator. It's not the best term to describe it, you're losing many features in the way. Falcon engine is far from perfect, but you can't call it a random mission generator. On the other side I still prefer a flawed DC engine that makes you feel part of something than a bunch of unrelated missions. My main concern with a sim is how the plane flies and how the battlefield responds to my actions. In that respect, DCS-A10C is unbeatable, but with the great level we have now, I think ED should focus on completing this piece of art with something that could leverage the immersion factor.
  15. Well, it's not the tools or the lack of dedication. IMHO DC offers much more than a way to auto-generate missions. You are part of a war and that makes it much more immersive. You cannot achieve that with a random mission generator.
  16. I don't care about knowing what is the next aircraft. I'm sure we'll enjoy the new module in the same way we are having fun with A-10C. That said, I think we haven't had any update lately from ED. I miss those tweets and posts with new features or bugs corrected. It helps to keep the community interest high now that the most active thread in ED forums is about Falcon BMS. Don't get me wrong, I'm not critizicing anything, I'm just pointing out it would be nice to have a little more feedback about next releases, new features and bug corrections, just as it was not so long ago.
  17. Looks good! Thx for sharing.
  18. I'm afraid it is not an easy change, since this limitation exists from the very beginning of the series. I hope that developers take this into consideration or even already working on it.
  19. I have to agree with this request. It is not the feature itself, but I believe it could open new possibilities. The sim could take flight groups into account and provide better AI response from ATC and tankers in multiplayer. I don't know how it works IRL, but take aerial refueling as an example. Lead could request rejoin on behalf his entire group and take turns on the boom without every member calling for abort at the end of its turn. It would smooth the proccess while possibly making it more realistic. What do you think about it? Are there any plans to introduce this feature in future patches/releases?
  20. You must first set the Rotary Selector Dial in the intercom panel to the INT position. Then using Mic Switch Fwd initiate communication with ground crew using option 8. Don't forget to reset it to the VHF position once you're done with ground crew or you'll not be able to communicate with other assets. Hope it helps!
  21. Flying with HOTAS Warthog and Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals here with 20 curve on all axis. Works very good for me to improve ground handling and above all, air to air refueling
  22. Well, AFAIK they are linked. I have mirrors turned off too for this reason. Decoupling these two settings sounds very reasonable to me.
  23. I've just come back from a beer weekend in Brussels. I'm a big fan of trappist and abbey ales, as well as lambic style. One of my favorite beers is Tripel Karmeliet: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/tripel-karmeliet/5368/ There are too many beer pubs in Brussels, but I'd like to recommend Le Poechenellekelder. Great selection of beers and good atmosphere, far from the crowded Delirium Tremens.
  24. Negative, but I'm just finishing a TARGET profile for it.
  25. Agree, see my post above. So elevation info is accurate, but CCIP bombing using DTS is not in mountainous terrain due possibly to calculation limitations.
