  1. Agree, the boom operator needs some work in order to give our warthogs a bit of care:
  2. 11.4 whql, 11.4 hotfix, 11.5 whql, 11.5 hotfix in less than two weeks? I like frequent updates, but this just looks like a joke. Hope it improves something with my 6950.
  3. Thanks JaBoG32_Kirin. Updated the list with last changes: Just to specify, we are summarizing here the white box glitch. There is another issue, HDR related as well, showing flickering when looking at the sun. Also, as I'm noticing that most cases are with AMD/ATI cards, I think it would be nice to get some confirmation from the nVidia guys, specifying which of the two issues are experiencing (white box/sun flicker). Meanwhile, I'm putting a question mark on nVidia cases until confirmation. AMD/ATI: 11 users with 6950/6970 have the issue 2 users with 6850/6870 don't have the issue 3 users with 5770/5870 don't have the issue NVIDIA: 1 user with GTX295 have the issue? (awaiting confirmation from BTTW-DratsaB) UNKNOWN: The following users reported the issue but cannot find their gpu info: shea1980 siefex leonsilver
  4. Just for the record, Catalyst 11.4c hotfix doesn't solve any issue for me. Flickering and boxes are still here.
  5. List was centered around white boxes anomaly only, but perhaps I should have specified. Flickering is happening in my rig also, mainly when looking at the sun so I assume it's the same problem you are experiencing.
  6. Just to summarize a little, these are the scores now: AMD/ATI: 10 users with 6950/6970 have the issue 2 users with 6850/6870 don't have the issue 3 users with 5770/5870 don't have the issue It seems we can narrow the problem here to 69xx cards. NVIDIA: 2 users with GTX295 have the issue UNKNOWN: The following users reported the issue but cannot find their gpu info: shea1980 siefex leonsilver It would be nice to have this GPU models so we can get the list completed.
  7. ...flickering issues seen in the following applications in a system using an AMD Radeon™ HD 6600 series graphics card... It seems only for 6600 series and I been experiencing the issue with 6950. Anyway, plan on test it later on and report back. Thanks!
  8. Yep, it only happens with HDR enabled, so it probably could be solved in further patches. No feedback from ED on this one, though.
  9. Also, lower left part of the HUD indicates your SPI source at all times.
  10. Good mission. Completed successfull, only 4 US soldiers down. Will try the mission again to not let any friendly loss.
  11. Legendary
  12. i7-2600K @ 4.5 GHz. It's more than enough for me. Did tests at 4.8 GHz and fps gain is minimal in my case.
  13. Who needs DCS: Black Shark now?
  14. I've tested today with Cat 11.4 WHQL and problem is still here.
  15. Just mapped it in the sim. Search for the command under "View" category. I think its name is "Snap View 5" or so.
  16. I've mapped Snap View 5 to the paddle switch of my HOTAS Warthog and strafing runs are a breeze now. Thanks for sharing!!
  17. Another quick video showing the problem, this time using hdr.fx from beta 4. http://youtu.be/Y1vfko7b8as Y1vfko7b8as
  18. Yeah, same problem here with 6950. Flickering textures on TGP, buildings and some strange white boxes in urban areas when HDR is enabled. Too many problems with AMD cards for my taste.
  19. I would like some type of confirmation or update on this issue from ED. When can we expect this to be solved? It's really annoying. I can wait but some feedback is needed to feed our patience :)
  20. Totally agree with it. It would be nice if not needed to have a switch to turn failures on/off.
  21. Same here. Picture is spot on. I'm confident ED will resolve this in the next patch. We need a solution!!
  22. Would like to know too, since it's very annoying to play either with the glitch or without HDR :(
  23. Tested with 6950 (not unlocked) and problem persists even with CatalystAI=Off (file edit) and Texture Filtering Quality slider in any position. Confirmed that HDR=off did solve the problem. Agree with you all. HDR is a must have for me.
  24. 6950 here by the way and noticing it. Didn't tried yet with HDR off.
  25. Good point, but tanks were static. Simple things first!!
