Found a beautiful short film shot by a swedish airforce cadet, it's filmed from the SAAB 105 during the second year of flight school. "What's the view from your office? During training to become a fighter pilot in the Swedish Air Force this is your view, the aircraft, a SAAB 105, the tool of your trade. The clip shows some of the excersises flown during the second year at the Flying Training School, the basic tactical training, abbreviated GTU. The clip is not an official Swedish Armed Forces publication, but something I made to offer brief look at what our days are like. That, and just for the fun of it."

You are correct. DCSW will be patched to 1.1.2.2 and that should fix 32-bit compatability if i have understood correctly :)

Well in theory several developers could be working on the same aircraft without anyone knowing about it since alot of the time they don't release info until the product is close to release :)

Tihs problem just appeared for me aswell. I was flying on a multiplayer server, disconnected with the disconnect buton. Closed the multiplayer .exe since i was going to adjust some axis settings and when i tried to log back in to the multiplayer client it crashes to desktop when it starts loading the server list. I tried starting the client without TrackIR enabled but the same problem appears. I'm using ATI 5000-series videocards. Attached my DXdiag file and the crash logs generated. DxDiag.txt

If you have DCS World v. 1.1.2.1 you only need the A-10C installer file. :-)

This might be a bit different since it is a ground based radar and might be a bit more powerful, but the minimum distance of the radars we had when i was in service was 50 meters, any closer than that and risk of burns or other injuries was very high. In this case it was the MIM-23 Hawk High power illuminator/tracker radar. They demonstrated this once by placing a bag of microwave popcorn in front on the radar and turning it on, started popping within seconds. Of course the bag was placed within a meter of the device and standing so close to it was more or less impossible unless you were standing on a ladder. I'm guessing however that the radar/jammer on aircraft is less powerfull and/or the pilot is somehow shielded from the radar.

Just came back from the UK a few minutes ago. The show was great! It made me proud as a Swede to see that the first jet display of the show was the Swedish Saab JAS-39 Gripen, defying the rain that had been pouring all morning. The best displays to me was, not in any particular order: The Red Arrows was very nice, it was my first time seing them IRL and i was very impressed. The French Rafale C, that guy looked like he was completely mad, and the swedish pilots looked completely mesmerized when he was running his display. The Turkish F-16, a -3 to +9 G display is not to bad ;). The Chinook, more maneuverable than they appear. and, of course, The fantastic A-10C display! I will be going through my camera tomorrow, i might have a few photos to upload :pilotfly:

You sure you have the right torrent file? If using utorrent you can check the comment under the General tab, the 1.1.0.6 clean install torrent says "DCS: A-10C Warthog 1.1.0.6 (English download version)"

To be a bit more on topic, i'm guessing you are trying to fly The Shore campaign? If so then its a known bug that you will not get clearance to taxi. The other two campaigns work better, but after a few missions in they are bugged aswell. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67284

If you live in europe i recomend Simware, outside of europe i dont really know to be honest :) Yea, i initally had some problems with my throttle aswell, completely died on me, contacted thrustmaster and they replaced it within a week or two and the new one has been working liek a charm ever since. I havent tried the target software at all though, i dont need it for DCS A-10C :D

I'm pretty sure that on a number of ocasions the EO has been turned off "in game" a few minutes after the warning message has appeared and i would need to start them up again. I could be mistaken though :)

Seeing as the problem seems to affect mission two in the same campaign as well, is the same symptoms visible on that mission too? I'm not to handy with the mission editor to check for myself :)

I tried loading mission 2 in the shore campaign the problem seems to affect that mission to, and there is no C-17 to be seen on this one. No aircraft at all is present on the airfield except for the 2 F-16s and my flight of A-10s.

This is exactly what happens to me too. It's that bloody C-17 thats the problem. :(

This might be something I'm doing wrong since I'm quite new at this JTAC thing. When i run the "JTAC Practice 02 REV 2" mission the JTAC coordinates I'm given is completely off, I get KM700549 for example and that is 10's of miles away form the target area). I got strange coordinates to all 4 targets, all around the same spot very far away. The first mission I ran, "JTAC Practice 01 REV 2", worked flawlessly though, nice work, really good to get the flow down on JTAC! :-)
