  1. I'll post this as a spoiler as not to spoil the mission. Otherwise, it looks like a great campaign and I enjoy the save feature so that I don't have to the whole mission again with AAR and all. Edit: Finished the mission.
  2. I said earlier that it probably was a mistake of my part, and it was. Forgot that you have to use the F10 menu to communicate with ATC... Problem solved. But thanks for your help anyway.
  3. Still no joy. It might be that I've forgotten something crucial, or done something wrong, but I can't figure out. Just to check that radio was working outside of the campaign, I created a quick mission with a ramp start, and was able to contact ATC as normal. I've attached a screenshot showing my radio in case there is something wrong there. Also, looking at the bottom of the briefing page, 125.7 is not listed as a frequency for Al Minhad. Did something change there? I did use 125.7 before without issues.
  4. I’m quite sure it was in manual as I don’t use presets. Will try again tomorrow and report back.
  5. Been away from the A-10 for a few weeks and decided to retry mission 6 which I've failed a few times... However, when I try to call ATC for startup, I get no response. Using frequency 125.7 and VHF AM. I can hear my flight just fine on the UHF. Did something break in a recent update or am I screwing up something here? (Using latest OB)

  7. You could be correct there. I’ve been running max mil power to waypoint 2 to make the time, but I will try to slow down as making the time isn’t important. Will report back.
  8. I’m away for work now, but I’ll see if I can send you that file soon, probably Wednesday. I did give it another shot yesterday, and decided to attack the first target from the left group. Fired a couple of sidewinders on the second guy, but he shot me down shortly afterwards. Looking at tacview (sorry, screenshot of it), my wingman is still flying east and show no signs of setting up for an attack. But I will try again when I get back home and send you the tacview file.
  9. Engange the targets on right, does that mean right as viewed from my pov? Becasue that does not seem like a good tactic as my wingman does not engage the left targets right away and they are the ones who gets there first. So if I don't engage them, I will get shot down before getting a chance to go for the right ones. I've attached a picture from Tacview showing my wingman heading due east, and I'm about to get shot down.

  11. I've only tried it in missions with case 3. Mission 6, and I believe mission 5. I'm attempting mission 7 now which also have a case 3. Will report back once I get those mavericks to lock on and I can get back to the ship...
  12. Done 6 missions so far and enjoy it so far. Just got a quick question: Is ACLS supposed to work here? Tried it in mission 6 and also in previous mission with case 3 and in both cases I'm not able to get coupled (it will say CPL HDG. not CPL P/R when I engage). Not a big deal, it does give me a change to practice my carrier landings which still needs a bit of practice...
  13. Thanks for your reply. I've attached two pictures. In the first I've entered 102 in table 3, position T2 and hit enter. In the second you can see the same code coming up as unknown. I also tried clearing all emitters except for the EWR with same result.
  14. This might be a user inflicted bug as I'm still quite new with the F-16. I do have an issue with the first target, the EWR 55G6. When following the instructions and entering the radar into table 3 (102), the instructions tells me that I should see a s for that radar and select it. Instead I see an u. I've tried several times and even looked in the HARM tables to make sure I'm putting in the right code, but no joy. When I try firing, the missile will eventually crash in the ocean without hitting a target. I have no issue with the second target though
  15. Most likely. Will try again tomorrow as I managed to get myself shot down with AAA. Would love a quick save function in DCS...
  16. This might just be me not fully understanding the JTAC instructions, but I'm having a problem here one the second assigment: Edit: Finally cleared hot. I don't know what was different this time though, maybe I was a bit more accurate with the heading and IP.
  17. Not to be impatient, but is there any news on this? Tried with the latest OB and still no joy. Really enjoying this campaign, so would love a fix for this.
  18. Running latest open beta without mods. That being said, it's first time I've noticed this in DCS. Might just be weird glitch.
  19. Thanks! Did the mission again and managed to keep my wingman out of harms way. I have one more question: I don't know if this a bug with the campaign or DCS (most likely the latter). I first used a Maverick to take out the radar station, but it looked like it missed by looking at the TGP. I still got the dialogue that target was destroyed. To be sure, I set up for an another attack using rockets with laser guiding. This time I saw a solid hit and the radar station was no more (it still looked intact before, no flames or anything). Looking at the score at the end, I saw that the Maverick was listed as taking out the radar, while the rockets did not get a kill. Also, I'm sure the Maverick was out of play by the time I fired the rockets because it took me some time to get repositioned for another attack.
  20. Two missions in and this looks like it's gonna be an interesting (but challenging) campaign. After finishing mission two, I saw that I got a score of 90%. What is required for 100%? I took out the SA-15, while my wingman took care of the Migs. I also took out the radar station. Unfortunately, my wingman was hit by a manpad on the egress (forgot to tell him hold position before going for the radar). Does that have an impact on the score? Didn't seem to have an affect on the dialogue on the way back.
