  1. Likely posturing for someone not far from there to see.
  2. we have a few here saving lives. Great plane. :)
  3. Meant to be played in sequence next thx giving or Christmas. :D nHc288IPFzk EKu7TYWNxqA
  4. I don't know the hawker hunter in detail but wheres the fuel and oil drain located? Every military aircraft can dump fuel overboard when the fuel control is challenged during engine regime changes (specially mechanical ones).
  5. with such G's that could be just the vapour trails.
  6. You got a lot of things backwards. The AMRAAM was the answer to the R27 Series, and the typhoon was specifically designed to meet the now extinct Su-37 terminator, but the Su-35S closely matches what the 37 was supposed to be. So there you have it.
  7. Im shocked the plane hit dead center in the highway with so much country side around it. That loop looked like a huge pilot mess up. Feel very sorry for everyone involved. Fast recover for the injured.
  8. Anything near the gun muzzle (specially that gun port cover) must be a life limited part. After firing 3 times you probably need to replace those parts likely costing some 4000$...or more.
  9. I have a vertex 3 240GB as a boot drive (comparable to your corsair), and a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB as my gaming drive. What I have noticed is that the later is nearly twice as fast in writes. Your arrangement of drives is largely indifferent either way unless you intend to do write intensive tasks like video encoding and in that case the Samsung will be better. Note: you can setup your swap file in either drive after installing windows.
  10. I am not Chinese. I am from south Europe. :) It is based on the Su-33 the same way the Mitsubishi F-2 is based off from the F-16A. Get it?
  11. Hey Guys. With the advent of the F-18C and Eurofighter modules, DCS worlds needs a decent counter up to the task. Since Eagle Dynamics is limited from simulating some of the more modern variants of the Russian fighters due to local laws, why not the Chinese J-15? Also a new map: Taiwan. This would expand the market to the far east and explore a huge simulation audience potential ensuring the future for DCS series. The Su-30MKI may be more complicated to do due to a mix avionics manufacture sources, but a flaming cliffs level J-15 with PFM would be possible? yes I know, no documentation, hence the suggestion to make avionics and radar at flaming cliffs level.
  12. I think when the aircraft lands you can see a missing panel at the right vertical stabilizer. They flew that thing unusually aggressively and quick for an F-15. I cant remember a display like this.
  13. likely superseded by other weapons and dismantled to save on their maintenance. I could be wrong though.
  14. Awsome, I wish I had more time like I used to, I have upwards 20+ models to make still in their boxes.
  15. heres the conference summed up: EE86qOpkaMo
  16. I can hardly believe they are geologically active ... what?!
  17. latest photo. The probe will be out of contact while aiming the cameras at pluto and its moons and will resume uploading more tomorrow.
  18. This is surreal footage from the New Horizons probe. it's the first time a Kuiper belt body is finally caught on camera. And it's truly bizarre looking alien world, worthy of a 1970's on-acid scy fi painting. It started like this: and now looks like this (latest pictures) The probe wil reach the closest approach pint tomorrow and Wednesday it will transmit photos with a resolution of 90m per pixel (about 270 feet).
  19. JF-17 is the most interesting fighter the Chinese companies ever designed.
  20. Not as insane as the restored mig-25 they tested a few days ago. It flew even lower. ;)
  21. DCS implementation NOW! :)
  22. try this: iXp3xtY-N7U
  23. High performance dogfighting fighters are out of favour amidst the USAF generals. This is why the F-15 remains without replacement (at 183 minus a few attrition F-22 losses there are not enough of them for the task), no new light fighter F-16 replacement either, but lots of long range AG strike platforms. That's how it is, for the moment. it'll take a few F-15 AA losses to wake the USAF up. The navy is not asleep though:
