  1. Thanks for the heads up NRG-Vampire. I will keep my hopes low I guess. Hopefully it's not the same guy.
  2. Ok fixed it. Yes there were 2 textures missing it seems. In the directory TempTextures make a copy the 2 following files: ns_green1 and ns_RED1 (Do not Delete !!!) Rename the new copies to: (keeping the naming convention) ns_green and ns_RED And voila !!!!
  3. Andi what video card are you using? It's possible it's the card's graphic software over riding the game graphic setting. I'm not talking about the driver. I had this issue when using ATI CCC software. I was over riding some 3D application settings such as the Anti aliasing and the Anisotropic filtering. When I switched them to game controlled it fixed it.
  4. Thanks for the update Pat01 :)
  5. Hi Mustang, I wish that was the case. I made sure that I over wrote every single file and double checked the description.lua file for my skins and checked the default skin too. Unfortunately I still have this strange issue, just like Esac_mirmidon
  6. Hi Combatace, sorry I know you're trying hard but I don't like to give you bad news. I'm afraid Version 1.3 still has the same issues. I re-installed it completely btw.
  7. Ok Mystery solved. You are using BS2 skins for DCSW. They are compatible however the author who made the skins is referring to in game skins that are part of BS2 and did not include them when he made the package as to save on the size of the download. He included the main camo skin and not the rest of the helicopter. The restof the skins were read directly from BS2 \bazar\world\texture\****.zip file as per the Description.lua file. In DCSW the naming convention of the skins changed, some stayed the same and some were called something else, hence your missing skins. If you want to fix this issue, you would need to go line by line in Description.lua file and find the corresponding missing texture file line and find the new name for it in the DCSW
  8. Can you provide a screenshot of the directory of {DCS World}\Bazar\Liveries\ka-50.? Also choose a particular skin folder that you added, and give us a screenshots of its contents along with the contents of the description file. Lets start there for now.
  9. Wow !!! Nice work. Are you going to release it?
  10. Great work on those Hornets Jack. Any Canadian skins soon?
  11. This is the issue I'm having. It seems I'm missing textures but I fully installed the SU-33. I did not install combatace's other model the SU-30. I put 3 TGA textures in temptextures. The tail one works the ones on the wings work but the halo effect is missing textures.
  12. Yes it would be great if we had an entry for the bort numbers in the description file for custom numbering. also I'm having very strange effects with the nav lights. I'll post pics later on.
  13. Great !!! Thanks Skate and Combatace. I thought I was going nutz. I'm happy that was the issue.
  14. Hi Skate The model is available here. http://www.lockonfiles.com/index.php/files/file/2400-fc3-combataces-su-33-model/ I can provide you with my gear system texture if you need it.
  15. Exactly that's the problem. It does not want to read the line no matter what I called the texture. {"KillermachineSu-33_gearsystem",0,"159thSu-33_gearsystem",false}; All the rest of the textures are fine. I must be doing something right if I got 5 out of 6 textures.
  16. Could the issue be at the 3d model level where you define which texture goes where? I'll do more test and might move the line of the SU-33 in the graphics.cfg file
  17. No difference where I put the line in the description file. It does not appear on the 3d model. Thanks AX
  18. Hi Skate, I triple checked the names. All other textures before that line and after appear. The space in the "true" was when I pasted the info. It's not there. I'll try to move the line up and see.
  19. Hi Combatace, thanks a lot for converting this wonderful model to FC3.I have a little issue with the skin, hopefully it's a small fix. The issue I'm having is with skin KillermachineSu-33_gearsystem.dds. When I create my own description for the skin and I call "KillermachineSu-33_gearsystem.dds" to "159thSu-33_gearsystem" it does not show up on the plane. Here is a pic. The outer pylons are still blue. And here are the contents of the discription file However if I rename "159thSu-33_gearsystem" to "KillermachineSu-33_gearsystem.dds" and put it in temptextures I have no more issues. It seems that the model does not want to read the description file for that particular skin. {"KillermachineSu-33_gearsystem",0,"159thSu-33_gearsystem",false};
  20. yes it's Key 6. If you're equipped with R-60's or R-73's point the reticle in the hud at an air target and you will get a tone for launch, you will have to judge the distance to target. Furthermore if you hit "C" you will be in cannon mode.
  21. TY TY TY TY TY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
