  1. You guys are on to something. It seems the developer is using horsepower to rotate square wheels instead of making them round like you guys found out.
  2. Wow what a difference at Novorossisk !!!!! Thanks a lot TZeer, you're on to something biiig
  3. I think I remember being hit once and lost only 1 hydro system but the 2nd one was not fully functional on it's own, ie it did the minimum required to lower flaps and gear for landing.
  4. What a great find !!!!
  5. Wow!!!
  6. There are lots of roads where you can land and takeoff successfully ;)
  7. Thanks, hopefully it's possible.
  8. Tons of flat lands in the present map. If you put it on a sloped area it still should work. The onus is on you to find a suitable place, just like the helo farp. I think it should work bcs it does for the KA-50. Simply add fixed wing options, since local airports handle the KA-50 as well. Here are more road takeoffs A-10 Mig-21 PAF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TC6mE5bNwI8 F-18 FAF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNuVCvIGKxE
  9. I tried to implement a fully functional and tested helo farp next to a major highway to repair, rearm and refuel fixed wing planes landing on the road but alas it did not work. I think this would be a major game changer/enhancement in DCSW since you no longer would be attached to known fixed airports and in a multiplayer scenario the possibilities would endless. Just find a suitable long road/highway Lots of new coming mods and existing ones could benefit from this, ie the harrier, mig-21, P51 etc etc. I would like to know from the community's opinion and ED if this might be a popular and feasible implementation.
  10. Shuddering??? With or without payload? What config? And provide track as per Joey.
  11. Whaaat??? No Mig-17??? This aint nam then ;)
  12. Looks like an A-8 probably.
  13. So Paul you added your custom skins to the A-10.Zip file and then under liveries you made the individual skin folders to house the description file. That defeats the purpose of having the liveries installed directly in their own folders. It should work that way. You should not be adding texture files to the original zip. There is a bug because the folders are not always read entirely like they should. The zip file is always loaded into memory. But hey ..it works that way I guess.
  14. Red1 forget the L39. There are a few in the pipe for FC. Continue with the Hunter for FC3
  15. Hi NECK, Yes there is definitely a bug. I had our squad skins on our server, and each of the players had it too. When the mission started some defaulted to the game skin and some displayed the squad skin. About an hour or so in the game. Everyone was suddenly displaying the correct skins. There is a bug with the KA-50 skin. It does not default to an existing in game skin if someone selects a slot where it's assigned a squad skin and the user does not have it. It displays orange "Texture Missing" skins. This does not apply for the rest of the DCSW flyable planes though.
  16. Zoltan??? Is that you??? ;)
  17. You're welcome. It's available now. http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/250460/
  18. TY Combatace. I have just uploaded the following skin at ED. It's gonna be avail as soon as the admin OKay's it.
  19. You're right KGB, the rudders are not working properly. Combatace could you fix this rudder issue?
  20. Yup, tacview it is.
  21. My issue was way different than yours Lenny. Mine were in the correct folder (TempTextures) but it looked like I was missing 2 textures. Here is what I'm talking about. I had to copy and rename 2 files. This fixed it: If not this would happen below . Notice you still see the wing lights but surrounded my a missing texture. What I think is that the material name for the lights on the wing might be incorrect. It looks like the wing lights are assigned 2 textures which should have the same material name, but in this case are not. Only the white tail light is.
