Hey It was mentioned that there would be debriefings, was that just for immersion, or is there something Im missing? I just flew the first mission 1V1, and there was a lot of talk about admin stuff, but not about ACM - is that something I'm supposed to find elsewhere? I really want to learn ACM in the F14, but I find it very hard..

I guess I took the instructions to protect my lead to literally I'll try just looking out for myself, first time in a warbird. Really loving the spit.

Hi, I'm new to the Spit but after much training I can taxi, takeoff, land and do formation flying. I've flown the first sortie three times, each time being shot to pieces by the FW's within 1 minute of merging. I'm flying close to my lead, as I'm supposed to protect him, but obviously I need some protection. Any tips how to survive?

I managed to do it At the end when Action 2 was being rescued, I decided to do the old iron hand thing and got a SA6 to fire about 6 SAM'S at me. That was exciting. Then just as I exited with the Mission Complete graphic, the game crashed so in the end I had to skip it. Pretty sure I was at a 100 score too Great mission.

Thanks! That's sort of what I tried myself. I did actually almost complete it the first time, but then got greedy with a kill.

Hi Loving the campaign, though I'm missing the BMS flight model I'm having a bit of a hard time getting through mission 9. The weapons I have don't have much standoff capability, so keep getting shot down while trying to destroy some of the SA6 sites. In addition, I realize that tanking is something a lot of people want to avoid, but it would be nice to have the option to practice it at least. Also would be nice if not all buttons where set correctly for engine start, but I guess that's how the DCS Viper works. Thanks again, been waiting for F16 campaign for ages.

So after some more testing, seems that if you leave the switch in the Close position, you can't lock the spider handle. You have to return it to neutral. So right now it doesn't work with a switch, unless it has three positions or you want to use the down and up mapping instead, which feels wrong.

Hello! Thanks for testing. I have it binded to a toggle switch on my Orion base. Toggle up is open toggle down is close. They work fine, but as I stated I am unable to lock the canopy after it's been closed.

When in A/G master mode you can't switch the radar to air to air modes. I believe this is not correct as you would use the radar for situational awareness in the air while deploying air to ground weapons.

I've mapped a switch on my Hotas to close the canopy. That works fine, however I can't close the spider switch. I have to open and close the canopy again with my mouse.

I'm not really concerned with cable damage, I have this permanently fixed now, and have no issue when getting in or out.

I'm in the same position. Really hoped Varjo would announce a new headset, but it was only a commercial headset. I've not heard about unhappy Aero users but plenty of crystal users

I'll definitely not get a Q3, hardly an upgrade from my G2. The more I read about QP compared to Varjo, the more I think I need to wait for new announcements. I will only use the headset for simming. Still hoping Varjo will announce a new headset November 27th..

The Quest Pro price here in Denmark just dropped about 33%, from 18.000 DKK to 12.000 DKK If no other announcements are made soon, I think I'll purchase it.

Varjo just announced a special event, showing "the future of XR/VR" on November 27th. Fingers crossed for a new consumer VR headset!

I guess if ED have tried emulating the force-sensing SSC, you're setup should be perfect for that. Seems there should be an option to toggle it on and off for the Viper. I myself am waiting for the realsimulator base and stick, because I don't enjoy flying it as it is now.
