Dynamic Vibration Mode -- Advanced mode not working.
Rac3rX replied to Gunnergolly's topic in Winwing
So, the vibration page now connects to the cloud, and you can select the profile to activate, but nothing seems to take. I turned on the boundary vibration (MFSSB), to make sure the motors weren't dead, and it works for that alone. None of the vibration profiles seem to work in DCS *Nevermind, I just had to restore the backup LUA from a much earlier date. The vibration is working now -
Dynamic Vibration Mode -- Advanced mode not working.

I also tried running an older version (from April). It shows a red exclamation in place of the refresh icon... so no dice -

I'm having this exact issue. I deleted and reinstalled simappPRO about 3 times today, to see if it was just a corrupted update. Only the cloud for 'key binding' seems to work. -
correct as-is New fuze option - editor and cockpit

Understood, but it seems the BA has an effect (since the last update) on release timing: that shouldn't be. If you're below the set BA, the bomb should burst immediately, after the delay fuze is reached. Edit- yes, BA would adjust release timing, but it should do so in relation to the SPI, not moving the SPI based of BA -
5-6 g's are excessive, btw. It should be 4g's MAX. 5-6 bleeds speed, putting you out of parameters for the toss cue. You'll end up vertical, too far from the target with your current slower velocity. There's a line that races up the toss cue; chase it. Put the FPM right behind it
-
There's a reported bug with the release timing on the CBU's, making them fall long. Make sure you have the flight-path marker on the bomb fall line and not the boresight cross. That could be why sometimes it releases and sometimes it doesn't.

I don't understand why BA is even adjustable onboard if it messes with the attack profile. You set a SPI, and the bomb should land there. Now if you're setting a release angle for a toss, that makes sense (as you'll need to follow the PUC). -
You just need kneeboard, next/previous page, kneeboard shortcut and next shortcut. You'll be able to cycle the kneeboard without the pop-up window

If it helps, I'm using the Steam version of DCS. Maybe there is a version difference with the update

I actually made that mission fresh, just to show the bug. And after finding the bug, I did a repair, just to make sure it wasn't something I did. Speaking of burst alt., I saw on the cntrl page that the burst alt. is about 5k agl. And it won't let me adjust it

Switching modes with missile override resets FCR to RWS

And if you set msl ovrd to ACM, it'll forget that as well. I'll attach a track later, when I get home -
Bombs fall about a mile off target in both CCRP and CCIP (post designate). CBU97_bug_CCIP.trk CBU97_bug_CCRP.trk

So its VIS and DTOS with the same issue... I think I found something else, though. While trying to set a markpoint (using VIS), it'll auto SOI to the weapon page if you don't let the TGP point track, before the TMS up. An area track should be a valid capture especially if you're doing SEAD, and you're marking a SAM contrail before diving to safety. F-16_TGP_VIS_bug.trk
-
Does this also include the TGP not ground stabilizing to a designated SPI, in VIS mode? I can no longer SOI the TGP in VIS mode without the TGP drifting away.

That's what it was...never confirmed on the DED. It works now; thanks for your help guys

Sorry for the late reply. Ahhh, I didn't press enter. I'll try that when I get home

Yes, it matches the F10 map. But even so, the steer select should steer it to where it (Assumes) the steering point is, if there's an alignment error. And every time, I get it to "10", then place it in NAV. I've been flying this bird for a year and never had this issue before.
-
It seems that the stored alignment has the AP working perfectly, but the NORM alignment breaks it. That's exactly what I did in the Red Flag campaign. File is too large, so here is a link: Track file
-
Yeah, that was the 1st thing I selected. I'll watch your track and try again. If it doesn't work, I'll submit mine
-
The steering select doesn't work, from a cold started jet. The heading select works, but when steering select is toggled, the Viper just levels out any roll. But, it works as intended, from a hot start jet. I'm unaware of any settings that could have been missed, that effects the autopilot (normal alignment, calibrated to "10").
