  1. I made a post about this in December for the ZBD-04A that had the same issue, and it got fixed. The BMP-3 7.62mm and 30mm audio are mistakenly swapped with each other. Track file included. You'll notice at 1:30 in this video is the same sound the BMP-3 uses in game for the 7.62mm: BMP-3 Gun Audio.trk
  2. Just saw you deleted the stock kneeboards from their original location. Did you move them to the new one per Sydy's instructions? Not sure why they'd be repopulating without you having run a repair on the game.
  3. Jester puts on his official Olympic Judge hat once you're on final approach. Anything but the most tender touchdown rustles his Jimmies. Worst part is sometimes he makes several criticisms in a row.
  4. Before the last bit of trimming, put the center of the HUD glass on the horizon line and use your elevator control and throttles (if necessary) to get altitude stable. As for AFCS, take into mind that the laggy VSI means even after Altitude Hold is engaged, the VSI will slowly bounce up and down several times before it finally settles down.

  7. Insanely so. Caught me off guard the first time I touched the throttle. Never seen a jet engine tachometer move like a formula one tachometer till now. If that's how fast a J79 actually spools up then fine, but no way it does, right? I wouldn't think any turbojet or turbofan in existence could.
  8. Using the method Rudel posted (from Mig-21 manual) I had no issue deploying the gear. As for the normal gear lever not working afterwards, I believe that's normal with most, if not all, aircraft.

Just to reiterate: in your second video (which I also linked in my third post), the sound of that guy firing the 30mm is the same audible tone and rate of fire as when you fire 7.62 on the ZBD-04A and BMP-3 in DCS. The sounds for the 2A72 (30mm) and PKT 7.62mm weapons have 100% been mistakenly swapped with each other. Thank you Draconus for your excellent track file.

  11. No I don't. I could very well be wrong, and I know you guys (rightly) don't change things based on guesses. I'll admit defeat. I also noticed the 30mm tracer frequency in game appears correct judging by 1:30 in the video below. Speaking of the BM-3 however, it also has the same 7.62 and 30mm audio swap issue as the ZBD-04A.
  12. Apologies for the late response. I now see that you can fire the 100mm, and yes, it has the velocity and range of a large water balloon. To hit a target 220 meters away, I have to aim the sight way too high. To fire the 7.62, you need to press "Fire Secondary Weapon" (left shift+space by default). 100mm Pumpkin Launcher .trk
  13. The ZBD-04A has three weapons. This post refers to the 30mm 2A72 gun (right of main gun), and the 7.62mm Type 86 (left of main gun). The 7.62 sounds like 30mm and vice versa. Google says the 2A72 rate of fire is between 300-330 rpm, and the Type 86 should be 700-800 rpm. Sound is definitely swapped. Three other minor notes: The 30mm tracers are much more frequent than the 7.62mm. Not sure if that's correct or not. Secondly, the main gun (100mm) is not usable. There's no option to fire it. Lastly, this vehicle is listed in both the 'IFV' and 'APC' armor sub categories in mission editor. ZBD-04A Guns Issue.trk

  15. 'Jump to Free Camera' works during missions but not in the Mission Editor. I've tried the default key bind (ctrl+F11) and binding it a joystick control. I click on an area, zoom in and press the bind, but the Free Camera won't activate. I want to see how things will actually look without jumping back and forth between the mission and Mission Editor.
