  1. Can you compare PICO4 to Quest3? Is it worth changing to quest? Or are they too similar? I also have a very comfortable face mask on PICO and after implementing VDXR I'm quite happy with it. But also have a nephew in need of a headset , so I could justify ordering Quest But only if it's worth it To clarify I want it for DCS and not for standalone games
  2. What do you mean by charging cable? It looks like normal usb-c cable to me
  3. I wonder, why do you have Vsync ON? What does it do?
  4. Damn, I missed that, thanks a lot
  5. Sorry, I must be blind or just dense, but I have no idea where that option is in OXRTK. Unless you mean lowering the graphics so the game always stays above 50 fps
  6. Pico 5 yes, but there will not be a Quest Pro 2. Meta cancelled it
  7. how do you lock fps without SSW. Some external program?
  8. Same here, but for me after several tries it is 55
  9. Wow, Baldric33 your advice was priceless. I will have to check it for a bit longer but right now it looks like it's the best solution. I will probably cancel my PointCtrl order and sell my MFDs THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
  10. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but when I run VD on Oculus runtime ( by setting active runtime to null and confirmed by VD overlay) I cannot open OpenXR toolkit 1. Ensure you have Oculus SW installed. What Oculus SW do you mean? 2. set OpenXR on under Experimental. Do you mean Turbo mode?
  11. I finally did it from BIOS. It's called the same - PBO, I set it to -15 BTW: I have ASUS x570 TUF Gaming board
  12. OK, solved, not the shortcut part - I still have no idea why it does not work but I lowered the PBO from Bios. Temps down so I am happy now
  13. . I have it in a startup folder , but the problem is the shortcut does not work as it should. it only opens PBO as in a right picture but is not changing values
  14. My Ryzen 5800x3d runs very close to 90 deg so I am trying to undervolt it with PBO 2 tuner. It works pretty good, with -20 offset it gets 5-6 deg cooler in Cinebench the problem is I have to put the values manually every time. I tried to add the offsets to target line in the shortcut at the end but it has no effect "C:\Program Files (x86)\PBO2 Tuner for 5800X3D\PBO2 tuner.exe" -20 -20 -20 -20 -20 -20 -20 -20 the patch is correct because it opens the PBO but without offsets Anyone has any idea what am I doing wrong?
  15. isn't that it supports Open XR only for games in the headset and not for PC?
  16. Not too bad for me, considering I'm on 4070Ti. I cannot compare it to Normandy 1.0 ( did not own it) but I noticed one thing. Flying with the same settings as on Channel map the high resolution textures on buildings apear much later on Normandy ( basically just under my wing) when on Channel they are visible from far away. I wonder if anyone else noticed that too, or it is something with my settings. Or we simply have to wait for NVIDIA 5000 series
  17. Yes, the answer is in FAQ
  18. You should chose Normandy upgrade - there are three options: 1 if you own both for 9.90 and 2 options if you own only normandy 1944 or Channel for 14.9 null
  19. Do we know at least, if it's going to be this year?
  20. can it be that the Steam versions is not updated yet?
  21. I don't think so. I have the same
  22. probably more, don't forget additional taxes and delivery cost MFDs and screens you can order from your local Amazon so it's nothing extra Anyway great work on your part, I would give it a try, but I'm moving into VR unfortunately ( or maybe fortunately )
  23. I too wonder about the colors. Is it intensional? There is a color mod for the old Normandy map, which shows it is possible do darken it, but they still go with this green tinge. Now, I never flew over the Normandy in RL so I have now idea how it looks from above. Maybe it is so green? Or maybe not if so many people complain about it
  24. Best news on this Monday morning
