1.1 FC is an add-on, you have buy the Lock-On game first, then 1.1... I guess...

What about releasing a video of 1.2, showing some in cockpit flight day and night? Is there a possiblity for that ?

I guess even the 1.2 release, pronounced to be the final, will need an additional patch for some unforeseen bugs. So release the game as good as it gets, try to eliminat all of the bugs that the dev team detect. And as the final product will be tested extensively by the actual paying gamers, I am sure that there will be some (maybe many) bugs that were not seen during the beta testing stage. And save your extra effort for that patch. If you release the game half finished and state that there will be some additional stuff for speedtree and extra terrain, then you will have to release another patch after that. So add all of the addons, modules, terrain, whatever you, than wiat for the community's actual test and release 1.21.. We have the patience for a well-done 1.2, we can wait for the final product with all of the goodies...

or maybe 5-6 :P

I guess it is too early even for dreaming about Tank Killers or F-16 stuff next to it... 2010 seems to be a optimistic release date for f-16 sim, under the conditions that ED would be willing to release such a product... Black Shark announced to be released for March 2006, we have only a month for that but did not have any movie or demo etc, not mentioning the naturalpoints 6dof demo... Only some screenshots...

I downloaded the 25t mission, it seems like a great battle and probably a great joy to fly it... But it seems to be a fps killer... I have 3700 sandiego processor, 1 gigs of rem and 6800 gt, I fly 1280*1024 with nearly all the settings at max... I get 9-10 fps during the take of. Even though the enemy units are more then 200 km away, the game tries to model them and this causes the fps drop. Lock-on needs some serious optimization...

Go for a DDR 3200 ram at least... San diego 3700 works on 11*200 and your rams should be at least in 400mhz frequency. I am not sure whether there are pci-ex agp boards? I recommend DFI series board...

This kind of photorealistic scenery is nice from high altitudes but when you get closer, it becomes really annoying. I dont think that this kind of scenery is suitable for Lockon, especially for BlackShark or FC in which we have low level, mud-moving type of flying...

I have the same issue and dont know a solution for that...

The real advantage of paragliding is that it is very practical and indeed, the easiest way of flying your own aircraft. You can get a full pg equipment with some middle range varios, etc for 4000-5000 usd and fly up virtually from everywhere. But of course, the pleasure of gliders should be much more appealing then paragliding:)

What is the cost of starting this? It seems quite fun:) I have a paraglider, gives a very different flying experience, especially when the you encounter with wing collapses:) You see how your wing just turns out to be a piece of crispy fabric, when it colapses at 1000mt:) But I am sure gliders would be the most exciting of all sports flying, being in a cockpit with no engines:)

How are the training sessions conducted, do we need those headphones, teamtalk stuff etc?

Can everybody join this su25t squad? What are the prerequsites for it? I am playing 25t since the release, I completed all of the missions, most of the compaings for 25t, what else do we need?

I have a 6800gt but at the highest level of anti alising, I still have those shadows. Anyway, we have get used to it. Thank you...

With 4x anti-alising and 16x anisotrophic filtering, I am having pretty decent performance at 1280*1024. But the shadows are still anti-alised. Is there a way to get antialised shadows?

I dont think that the only difference between the SFM and AFM is only asymetric payloads or OOC modes (I dont know what OOC is by the way). Even the rudder feels a great difference btw the two. Continiously apply right and left rudders in the 25t and su 27, and see the reactions. You should know these issius more then I do.

Yes you are absolutely right, if they didnt show us a better option, then I would be happy with su-27 and a-10:)

+1 Yellonet I quit playing all the aitcraft after su25t, as others feel like arcade after the AFM of 25t...

Is it not possible to have 6DOF in su25t for example?

Even the release date of Black Shark seems so far... I cannot imagine the days of a F-16 sim, released by ED, most of us would probably be dead or playing with grandchildren:)

I have sandiego 3700 with leadtek 6800 gt and I have the same texture corruption in clouds with 85.xx drivers. I was planing to install the latest 85 series driver but I dont think that a newer driver could fix the problem, as newer drivers are maximized for newer 7800 gpus...

Is there anybody who didnt turn off the annoying default music and radio chatter of the main menu:) I really forgot that this game has menu music:) Thank you for your work, I didnt listen to your music but I am sure that it is much better than the default one:)
