  1. Got this installed but I can't find it in the Mission Editor. Is it named something other than Santa Claus? Edit: Looks like it might be missing files? There is no "bin" folder inside among others that are missing. @Hawkeye60
  2. That solved my problem. I launched via the "Missions" menu in DCS, not the "Campaign" menu. It is interesting that by doing so I played an entirely different mission with voice acting, scripting, AI that followed me and behaved properly. I might do a fresh install though because the sound of the AI Apache was not the correct sound.
  3. So I just tried out mission 1. It was at night (which is fine I like night flying, just wasn't sure if it is intentional). And then once I got to the Observation point (waypoint #8) I am not sure what is supposed to happen. The brief says just observer and don't fire unless fired upon, which I wasn't, so I just flew back to the FARP and there wasn't any radio communication after reaching the observation point to look into the town and find the enemy FARP. I am sure there is something I am missing, just not sure what.
  4. Okay, they were in there. Removed them and still had the same result so I have something installed incorrectly. I am using OvGME to install the mod, both folders set to install into the DCS root directory. Not sure what else I need to do for install? EDIT: Did a full uninstall using OvGME and deleted all files from my computer, redownloaded using the link in the OP and reinstalled using OvGME and it works. Not sure what the issue was but that fixed it. Thanks for your help!
  5. Gave it a try in the winter with the same result. I do not have the snowless winter mod installed.
  6. Yes, I only ever do the slow repair.
  7. It does not. Only with the mod installed.
  8. Okay so I did a full uninstall of all mods including this one, did a full clean and repair on DCS, restructured my OvGME files to match yours and enabled only this texture mod and I am still getting the same result on the airport bunkers. Kind of stuck now on what else I should do. Any suggestions?
  9. I will try that. I also noticed in your screenshot you have two layers of “Barthek’s Caucasus Redone 2022” folders. When I moved them to my OvGME Root folder I went into the first folder and pulled the second folder out and moved that. So if I open the folder that I moved, it has all the contents directly in it, there isn’t another layer of a containing folder. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
  10. Trying to install using OvGME but I can't get it working. Which folder goes into the Root DCS folder? The Bazar or the Mods folder? I am trying to tell OvGME where to send each one but nothing seems to work. EDIT: I dropped both the Mods and Bazar folders into my profile in OVGME for the Root DCS folder and I am getting somewhere. Things look different and it looks like some of the mod is working based on the look of the cities (see photo below). I still have an issue with some textures though loading in as the green checker pattern (see photo below).
  11. Any chance shipping to the USA would be an option in the future? Your work looks excellent! I want to build the Rhino kit but I am more at a comfort level of assembly+wiring when it comes to DIY. Unfortunately I don't have the fabricating skills, whether it be 3D printing or metal work to be able to take the whole project on myself, so your kit would be perfect.
  12. This is the answer. If you have the TADS video up and watch him laze, he isn't even close sometimes and it gives the missile inaccurate target data. If I jump in the front seat and give the target a solid laze, the Limas are hitting every time. Of course that always comes with the high risk of George crashing. So to reaffirm your statement; the missiles are good, George sucks.
  13. In my opinion I think George just sucks at lazing and gives the missile inaccurate target data. I always have the TADS video up and I have notice when he turns the laser on to get the target data for the Lima, he is not always lazing directly on the target. Sometimes he is off by a bit and sure enough the missile goes right to where he was lazing. If I hop in the front seat and put a good laze on the target, the Lima hits the target every time.
  14. Maybe I just need to do some readjusting to my curves and get used to the changes, but I feel like before this patch I could get it into a rock solid hover without using any hold modes and only using trim. Now I am back to working around the weeble wobbles in a hover. Even in forward flight I feel like I am struggling to keep it at a stable position where as before I could be completely hands off with just using trim and no hold modes, and when I engaged the hold modes it would get even better. I just feel like that's not the case anymore. I also noticed that when you manipulate the cyclic while the aircraft is still cold and dark and watch the rotor blades, the don't smoothly move anymore, its like the jump as if I were giving some drastic cyclic input, when in reality I am barely moving my stick. Also the rotor blades reach their limit of travel while I still have quite a bit of cyclic movement available in my physical controls. So it is like having a dead zone on the outside of my controls rather than at center. I hope that makes sense, It is kind of tough to explain.
  15. Any plans to support the UH-60 Black Hawk mod? I don't know if it is even possible or not but with how much CSAR and CTLD flying the 60 does, I know it would be incredible to have The Way implemented.
  16. Copy that. I am guessing at some point in the future it will make it's way to multiplayer servers?
  17. MT still does not apply to multiplayer servers even if we launch using the bin-mt executable correct?
  18. When I run the updater I get this error (See first screen shot). Clicking "Retry" just makes the error pop up over and over again so I am forced to click, "Cancel." After clicking cancel I get this error and get the same error when trying to open DCS (See second screen shot). Ran the repair tool, it repaired it so I am able to open DCS again but it is the previous version. I am unable to update to todays patch version, every time I try to I get the "Can't delete" error (First Screen shot).
  19. It has a very mild undervolt applied just to help with the temperatures. Not boosting the clock speeds at all, just drawing less power and still able to hit stock clock speeds very easily. It is the Gigabyte RTX3090 Gaming OC. I don't know if the OC means it has a factory overclock applies or not.
  20. So since making those changes DCS has been performing perfectly for about 15 hours total of flight time. Just had my first crash, same error I believe. The crash log is attached. Thanks! dcs.20230306-070645.log
  21. I have definitely heard that from many different sources about overclocking in DC. I will try everything else and if the issue still arises I will slowly take out the undervolt. I just really enjoy that I was able to make a 3090 never get above 67 decrees C haha. I have two identical M.2 NVME drives (1TB each), I put the pagefile on my boot since it is in the top M.2 slot on the motherboard and uses the faster lanes. After doing this and updating the NVIDIA drivers which came out last night I was able fly in single player and on a highly populated multiplayer server for about 3.5 hours of flight time with no crashes. Hoping my issues are fixed, if not I will start to take out the undervolt. Thanks for your help!
  22. Hi, First, thanks for the reply and the information I really appreciate it. As far as overclocking, I have a very mild undervolt applied to the GPU and CPU just to bring the temperatures down a bit, but the clock speeds are still the same. I don't know if that is even considered an overclock? I just lowed the power delivery a bit but both the GPU and CPU have no issues hitting their stock clock speeds, and I have never had stability issues in any game or heavy processing application including DCS until a couple days ago. I did however update my NVIDIA drivers right around the time the crashes started happening, I wonder if the new driver has an issue maybe? I think it is weird that it just started happening out of nowhere when nothing on the game side changed. I need to read up on what the pagefile settings are just for my own education purposes but I will go ahead and change them and test the stability. Thanks! Edit: When changing the pagefile settings should I set it to the drive that DCS is installed on? I have it on a separate M.2 drive than my Boot drive. In that video he says to set all other drives to "none." Will that negatively effect the performance of the other drives (Boot and a large storage SSD)? Edit: Immediately after posting this I went to double check and a new NVIDIA driver was released yesterday. I will update that, change the pagefile settings and run some tests in DCS.
  23. DCS will keep crashing at random points during play. Looks like an ACCESS VIOLATION but I am not educated enough to be able to read the log and know what the issue is. Below is what stands out to me but again, I don't have an understanding of what it means. The full log is attached. Thanks! C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00007FFA62529C10 00:00000000 dcs.20230302-082254.log
