Odd. I have a Q3 with RTX4070 and i get 72 fps most of the time. I use PD of 1 and no oversampling. I use QVFR and playing with MSAA and DLAA. I ca share some exact setting tonight

I played open beta and after the update to the 2.9.3.51704 version, my game wont load into VR. 2D is fine. Running quest 3 with link

Play the Raven campaigns. You really get to know the Hornet and you will be sweating all the missions and some case III's. There are also some extraordinary events you have to perform in the Hornet. I felt the same way you did until the campaigns really stretched what you can do with the Hornet. Trust me, the first case III on a dark and stormy night makes you appreciate a boring jet!

New bug I think. Clementines never takes off after Knight calls for SAR. Checked in using F10 and spacebar. Flew to crash site but Clementines remain on the carrier. This is the skip AAR miz

I use a cheapo 4k QLED TCL Q570F when I play multiplayer and it works just fine. Good visuals and color. 60 Hz is fine

Just finished this as well. I fell behind after the Mig encounter- I shot both of them down. When I got to the tanker and called to rejoin, I had no comms. The tanker would not respond-it appears as Shell1-1 instead of Arco in the radio menu. The incident triggered fine but i was already on the carrier when they talked me through the manual gear procedure. Even with all that I had a blast. This was a masterpiece! I didn't think Raven One can be bested but this did! These campaigns pushed my skill and knowledge farther than anything in DCS. Thanks for your work !! @baltic_dragon

I know this mission is bugged somewhat, but what is supposed to happen? Do I follow Olive or fly ahead? There is a ZSU23 I had to take out on the way. Then once I get to the crash site, there is another in the compound, then trucks roll out and took it out with a Maverick. I had Olive strafe the troops, she ends up dying. Not sure why, no one shot her. I got shot pretty bad attacking the compound with the CBU and lost 2000lbs of fuel. My plane can barely fly, Olive is dead, the Clementines are farting around. I had to RTB and found no tanker. I ditched near the Tarawa. Mission failed.

Should be the same as your Pro. Just add the device in your desktop oculus app

I turned on PTC and got the V60 update. It is a lot better now. I am using Link again with a Quest 3 and it looks great. One thing I couldn't do in VD was to change the FOV to increase the FPS. I also use OpenXR Toolkit to change the resolution. However, this causes me to crash when I turn on Turbo mode. I use OTT to disable ASW anyway. Running at 72 hz, 1.3x render resolution. It is looking good for me.

What do you do for campaigns in 2.5.6 I love all the ones with voice acting but only a few can run in 2.5

Turns out it is my link cable. I fired up Virtual Desktop on Ultra mode and running VDXR runtime and Av1 codec. I was amazed at the graphic quality. I noticed some buffering but that might be a tweak in some settings. Definitely happy with my Quest 3. Going back to DCS 2.5.6 is unreal! That Tomcat look so good. Time to play Zone 5 campaign.

I just bought a quest 3 and was very excited. I plugged it into my Quest 2 set up and things worked right away. It is noticeable brighter and cleared. However, I feel the FOV is worse than my quest 2. Something must be wrong. I can see the black edges of the rectangle where I don't see in my quest 2. I disabled OXTK and deleted the FOV multiplier in OTT. Still see the black edges. Any ideas?

This is encouraging to hear. I am also thinking about a Quest 3 with similar specs. Q3 might be on my Xmas wish list.

I get the RTB order without getting GRID for this. is there a trigger I missed?

Thanks for your post. I have similar specs/expectations as you and I am happy with DLAA for the most part. I use QVFR as well. I am still trying to figure out shadows. I have it on low right now. I love DLSS fps but the blurriness/ghosting is a deal breaker. I will try terrain shadows and grass to see if my system can handle it.

Is it because the CPU is old? I have a similar GPU and using QVFR. Should I go back to OXRTK FR?

You don't need OpenXR toolkit to use QVFR?

I realize I have to aim the FLIR reticle and lock on the fuel tank? WP designate just slews the camera but I need to lock on the target by pushing TDC depress?

Do you still need to slew the TDC? My bomb keeps missing even though i have it on target Designate

I have been trying to get more than 70 on this mission and keep missing my target. I designate WP3 on ATFLIR, use 1688 Code, turn on Laser at IP. Do I have to slew the TDC still to find the target? I can't see the fuel tank well on the FLIR screen so I am relying on GPS. Any tips?

Same here! I disabled OPXR Tool kit and the load times is way faster. Have DLSS on with .65 sharpening and LOD 2. No shimmer, no ghosting. Smooth and clear! Haven't see VR this good in DCS. Quest 2 (72 Hz) with RTX4070

I had the worst landing of my career on this mission-no wonder!
