Irregular programming

The wingman tries to land with you, I have never gotten that to work. He either tries to kill/ kills you or he flies of, this is Extremely annoying. Happens every time.

Does anyone else have this problem? It seems as if it just doesn't register that I set it and the tutorial voice event never fires.

Correct both of you it's a b17 divebomber, but this particular aircraft on the picture is quite famous and was assigned to a squadron whose name/designation it stil retains. It's that name I am looking for.

Can the pilot even be wounded? I know you can die, but I've never been wounded.

This is also my first real sim. There are a lot of great tutorials on youtube that I would recomend over trying to learn from the manual. The Not saying don't read the manual it's a great reference document and really great if you want to know more about a certain thing about the sim but learning from it just gives you an added difficulty.

I for sure will not buy any of NPs products. When my trackIR goes out I guess I'll just go to an alternative.

The emergency hand break is not a hand break that you should use to keep your plane from rolling at startup. Also, I thought it was already implemented, it's a fairly big lever on your left.

^^ Yeah, that's what I meant. It doesn't start me in the first tier as I would have expected it to, it starts me in the third. :) Anyway, thank you all.

I just realized that the GOW campaign doesn't start from the first mission but the third. Why is that? Does everyone have this? This youtube video suggests otherwise: DnSrClVc-PM I run the Steam version of the game if that makes any difference.

That was way better than my blackshark landings.

But disintegrating helicopters with the GAU-8 is so satisfying.

He, am I the only one that like that it's in Russian. The english voices sound terrible it feels like I am in a cheesy dubbed action movie from the 80ties. Also, it appears that you have not yet come to the point in the campaign where you find yourself against two apache helicopters.. :joystick: But yeah, the Blackshark isn't really meant to be engaging in air to air combat even though it can.

Well I don't know about CH but mapping but my cougar to the exceedingly easy as I just made a custom program to map each button to the correct keypress combination. For the collective just map it to your throttle, the actual throttle on the helicopter should only be moved during startup and landing or if you get into an emergency. You can currently not play the game on warthog servers (or the other way around), but there are plans to patch the game with the upgraded engine for Warthog and by doing so hopefully get online compatibility as well. I would buy the game from steam if I were you, that's in my opinion the far easiest way to keep your games.
