I have bought 2 X 8'' LCD (VGA) and cost me more than one 19'' or 22'' screen. It depends how you are planing to use it. My intention was to built a desktop panel where they fit perfect: Here is how they were connected to my second GPU: BUT if you plan to built something bigger you can fit the MFDs in front of a bigger (and Cheaper) monitor. Costs you less and you can have (using HELIOS) more options. These are the 8'' I got link

... until I get a bigger home!:) Construction is based on dimebug's plans and all these excellent tips I have read here from many people! It's far far away to be a A-10C replica! Limitations were space (I have only 30-40 cm free from each side) and budget. There more to be done. I have to add the front switch panels (you see the holes) and maybe side consoles if I find a way to fit them. I will use opencockipts cards for these which I already own. So, here is the front panel after cutting and first coat of color The monitors (1 X15'' and 2 X 8'') all VGA In place: Testing Helios profile (modified Loz profile): The Warthog base ( I use materials from the 15'' monitor base) doesn't look good but is pretty steady, at least for now :music_whistling: Here is the 50% of the room:) And in action: Needs more work to look better, but for now it works and the v.flight feels good!!

Hello Stelio Firstly I have no idea about rods!:music_whistling: You will need something to convert the mecahnical movement. You are planning to but something? (Opencockpits etc). If you want to have only only 2 throttles and maybe some switches you can start with a simple USB convertor (about 15€): http://www.hotas.gr/content/view/63/1/lang,el/ What are you thinking about the case?

Hello rss0900 how many PCIe slots have your motherboard? Mine have 3, and I use all of the them to drive 4 monitors. All you need is a second GPU, no need to be an expensive one and connect the extra monitors. By the way I haven't seen anything dump from Peter so far

I use two 8'' VGA connected to 2 cheap BGA cards. I had to upgrate M/B to one with 3 PCIe slots.

I will go this way Mr Burns. Tested for a couple of hours and I got the feeling you describe!! Main monitor is too high and too close. I will drop the wall mounted base.It's to high and is not so flexible!

It's not possible to extract anything from it, at least for on line use. One more reason about the mess is that I thought that it could be possible to use it not only for A-10. My idea is the center of the front panel( in front of 15'' screen) to be removable using some kind of clips.
