  1. I know a number of us having been having problems with graphical issues since 2.9. Especially with the TGP enabled. I took a screen shot of me flying as you can see just over a mile away nearly on top of a group of T-72 tanks which I was only able to spot with my White Hot settings in active pause because they are so dim. Thoughts? I do realize the engine compartment is going to be the warmest spot, but the soldiers uniforms are picking up brighter than most of the tank. Is this normal?
  2. I am having the issue where my screen starts flashing black really fast only when I am using my TGP (F-16). Not only is the flashing really distracting but it almost seems like the thing doesn't zoom as far as it had before nor does my White Hot setting seem to really reveal much. I put 5 soldiers and 5 T-72s clustered in a spot and I zoomed for all I was worth just 4 miles away and could just barely make out the tank image. Then I flew over and the only thing on the tank that was remotely white was the engine compartment. I realize that's going to make the most heat but it doesn't seem right the rest of the tank, which is running, will match the color of the grass. This is on a day mission. I had to put it in active pause mode for an eternity just to spot this cluster of baddies.
  3. I swear I don't remember doing that the first time but it's been a while. The video I posted doesn't seem to indicate but it's harder to tell on that compressed video. Yay flying an F-16 with Covid! Thanks for the prompt response.
  4. I think I figured it out. I was pressing release when the first set of lines squished down on the flight path indicator. I finally waited a while for another release bar to drop down
  5. The track file is the failure that I keep getting. The video is a video I made with the exact same mission pre 2.9. I configured for CCRP, Pair Drop, 5 ripples (10 bombs), Set the drop elevation to 0 degrees and 200 ft spacing because I was doing a level drop but I also tried it at the default of 45. I did it over and over and over again and can't get it to drop. Each time I fly somewhere between 13 and 8 seconds away and hold the weapon release. Yet below is a YouTube video I made a few weeks back following the exact procedure and they dropped just fine. FYI the mission file in the video below is the same mission file I used in the TRK clip and I had made sure that the waypoint with the target was at ground level way back when the original video was created. f16dropfailure.trk
  6. Yes I have this problem but it is not restricted to just the CBU-97. I can't drop CBU-87's either. Even the CCRP training mission where you drop CBU-87's doesn't work. Also for fun I tried loading my plane up with MK-82's and no joy there either. I am running the beta version. How about you? Also I tried loading up CBU-105's though it doesn't have a CCRP mode it does have the PRE mode which does the same thing. I was able to drop a 105 without issue. It seems to me that CCRP, at least in the beta release, is busted.
  7. I am flying the second mission for the F-16C. One of the actual built in ones. I am to take off and then 4 - F16's are supposed to intercept 3 IL-76 transports and Mig 29's. I have tried sending commands to individual wingmen as well as the entire flight. Attack my Target when I had one targetted. Attack bandits and so on and not a single air to air missle is fired. I manage to shoot down both Mig-29's and two of the IL- 76's on my own and twice now enough time has passed that I have passed into range of a SAM launcher and get shot down as I am coming up behind the last transport to light him up with my 20MM guns. Any suggestions on how to get my wingmen to actually attack these transports etc?
  8. Yes it's frustrating knowing there are at least two of us with the problem and probably many more who wouldn't come to this forum to report it.
  9. Ok here is my TRK file. In the file you can see I am in free flight. Pointed straight. I click through the elevation controls, move the slew all over the place, and the only way I get a positive number on the slew is when I scroll all the way to the bottom. When I scroll up the numbers become an even higher negative value. I even signed up for open beta updates in Steam hoping I could catch a fix early but it's been 3 weeks I guess at this point since I've been able to use the F-16. Like I said I had reinstalled it from scratch once already. Tried open beta. Nothing is fixing the problem. When you ask about the elevation bindings I assume you are taking about the buttons I'm pressing on the MFS in the beginning of the video which is how I've always done so. I have a 4 position switch on my X-52 controller to control the slew. I'm doing everything just like I have been the whole time I've flown this plane and then right after the 8/2/2023 patch (it's the only thing I can correlate it to ) my radar goes wonky. f16radarbug.trk
  10. I know you guys are aware of this bug according to Lord Vader. But the F-16 has been unusable for me since what I believe was the Aug 2 patch when the VRS support was added. I cannot get a positive elevation reading on my elevation slew to save my life. Any updates??
  11. I don't know if this occured when VSR was introduced to the F -16 or what but now whenever I am trying to use air to air radar in TWS or RWS modes the altitude of the scan beam is WAY too low. I can be flying at 6000 feet. HAve radar pointing straight out and the top number will say -26 and -72. Obviously in this flight configuration there should be a positive number up top with a much smaller negative number below. I have attached a picture of the bug. I have even reinstalled the entire 240GB of this sim to see if that helped. I am a veteran of how to work the F-16 Air to Air radar in RWS and TWS mode.
