" The sketch in figure 4-3 shows the main rotor, cyclic and collectives, anti-torque pedals, and anti-torque rotor. Basically, the cyclic control is a mechanical linkage used to change the pitch of the main rotor blades. Pitch change is accomplished at a specific point in the plane of rotation to tilt the main rotor disc. Most current military helicopters now have hydraulic assistance in addition to the mechanical linkages. The collective changes the pitch of all the main rotor blades equally and simultaneously. The anti-torque pedals are used to adjust the pitch in the anti-torque rotor blades to compensate for main rotor torque. " in the page of manuale can see also a drawing . This should be the reason why also without hyd pressure you are able to fly. Ciao

hi. I think I messed up with some buttons and can not undesrtand how to de activated this. when in flight I launch my rockets and the view switch from cockpit to the external view of my rockets in flight automatically. I searched the manual to find what is the combination of buttons to de activate but didn't find. Help thanks

I have to better check . Did not have time , but last flight I entered mission and happened this shifting in collective. Exited game re entered and everything was fine. In the first flight I used the "f" collective brake in flight. In the second flight I did not use it. As I say I want to investigate more.... It is not a complain because maybe it is my fault in setting. Don't know.

me too some problem with x52. I want to investigate more. Maybe some wrong setting I don't know. This is happening to me. in the saitek program the movement of joy z ( collective) is smooth.no shifting no strange movement. In flght , not always, I have shifting in collective movement. If I put to idle the collective push up to maximum and then back to idle then back to max. If I leave the collective in mid position I can see it shiftng up and down without control. I exit game, re enter and everything is solved. if I check the axis tune in bs2 I can see shifting in z while I don t see this shifting in saitek axis program control. While I move z axis I see little jumps in bs axis tune don't know If it is bs or my joy but never happened with bs1 or a10

i agree with Bad. Don't forget us. :-) Maybe we are not so many as A10 pilot but i assure we adore our KA50.. bugs and problems won't stop us...

Finally i found this thread i referred . for BS2 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=79643&page=2 I really do not understand nothing about .lua etc etc.. what i should do to have re-arm of illumination rockects from cockpit? I have to edit something ( this would mean destruction of my BS2 and maybe also my hard disk ) or there is something like a mod i can download and install with modman... Thanks thanks thanks

i see but this is working if i am supposed to be the mission planner. I am flying a in a server on line 6 days out of 7 as player. I enter my multi player BS2 and from there i can only work with abris in cockpit not in prepare mission in mission planner. This is the problem. I needed to save flight plan directly from cockpit so next day where i re-enter the server i can re-load what i did day before or modify...

so. NO use ok

sigh... so no way to save directly fligth plan from abris inside cockpit to hard disk.. thanks anyway and... good luck for the exam!!

thanks Noc but i want to save flight plan on my PC hard disk non in abris RAM. I need to reload the flight plan created in cockpit for another flight. Let's say ... i do flight plan from abris... flight my mission ... get killed... back to spectator... re-enter the game... load my previous plan from my pc hard disk. Is it possible? this is described in manual page 7-38 but something is not working ... at least for me ... "Although you can save route plans into the ABRIS system RAM through the PLAN sub-mode pages, you can also save a route plan into the ABRIS permanent database (i.e. your hard drive). If you do so, you will have the ability to load it the next time you fly the same mission. To do so... etc etc... "

thanks Yureg. But i meant create a fligth plan directly in cockpit with abris and save on hard disk. Prepare mission is only in Mission editor correct?Or i misunderstand... I would like to enter cockpit and prepare the flight plan in the cockpit directly on abris and PVi800. I can save to RAM of abris but not able to save on hard disk of my computer. I need to save on HD because i need to reload it many time during our campaign. Thanks

Hi. Is it possible to save flight plan from abris on hard disk ? It is described in manual but doesn t work for me. I undestand in bs1 was not possible correct? And bs2? I can save info points and lines but not flight plan. Also I tried night vison googles, it appears very different from bs1 I rarely can see something also using the regulation knob. A pixelled image not uniform infrared image. It is my computer or normal? thanks

cannot-say-it-but-yes-same-to-me-with-x52-completely-different-trim method from bs1 fighting-to-have-level-flight all day long. sigh... but i love bs and i will fight this dam mr. "T" !!! :-)

you are landing in a vertical descent without moving forward ? Usually can land with no problem with no forward movement. Have you try to land with autohover and the D button pressed for the autodescent?

didn't ever experienced. Should try. You mean try all AP off and only turn on the APFD?

i never understand well this point. "Flight director mode button. Disengages autopilot automatic angular stabilization (except for dampener function) and enables flight director mode on the HUD. [LCTRL + A] " This disegnage angular stabilization , ( bank correct ?) except for dumpener funcion. ( what this mean? Disengage roll or not? what is the meaning of dumpener? ) thanks

ok. This was something i was missing. Didn't undestard that shkval can sweep automatically. I re-read the manual and found out procedure on page 11-10. I will try this. Seems interesting. It doesn't stop on a tank or object automaticaclly correct? Only scan, and if i see something i lock it manually as usual. Correct? Thanks
