  1. So I'm building a mission where people try to flee East Berlin, but the hitboxes of the Brandenburg Gate are broken.
  2. Today we multi-crewed again and had a lot of fun. However, there is still an issue with the low-RPM alarm for people who are slotted in the gunner positions. We solved it by the person re-slotting after startup.
  3. So when Petrovich is searching (on ECW/HBCW) there is a heavy stutter that is hurting my brain in VR.
  4. I think people who read the original post by person B are primed to look at it with suspicion and dismissal.
  5. If person A posts it people defend it and if person B posts it people agree that it is a really bad thing from a bad person.
  6. Funny how people openly acknowledge the double standard.
  7. Calling it baseless is uninformed. And I have not seen anybody denying/contradicting the bullet points.
  8. The exact date I discovered people have to do their own research on each 3rd party developer and module pre-purchase instead of assuming equal quality.
  9. Do you think that the F-15E has equal likelihood to not be further developed, compared to other EA modules? Do you think that RAZBAM modules have equal likelihood of not working in future versions of DCS, compared to other modules?
  10. Not every module has an active legal dispute and is thus frozen in development. If you sell a car and you know it will probably not pass the next checkup, you don't tell the buyer: "Any car can break down."
  11. I'm a simple man. I just want to see a glimpse of the MiG-17 in the video to get my dopamine fix. And preferably something on Vulkan.
  12. There is an active legal dispute that has frozen development on the modules, of which one is in early access. Saying "read the EULA" does not cut it.
  13. I don't own any RAZBAM module. The single problem I have is that people (who commit countless hours to a module) are not informed in any way about the potential risks when they purchase a RAZBAM module.
  14. Would you say that keeping module/core compatibility affects core-feature progress? For instance when the modules need different Vulkan API calls and such.
  15. Example of it firing when I'm already dead from yesterday, that reminded me of this bug. fagot_keeps_firing.mp4
  16. Basically, if you have your trigger pressed when blacking out, you'll end up with an empty magazine. Also, when recovering from black-out the button-release does not register so you have to manually shoot to have it release. If I get shot when I'm firing, I see my aircraft emptying its clips while it is falling to the ground.
  17. Which version(s) of the F-5E are affected? As in; can people de-install the remastered or buy the FC version as a fallback?
  18. So does it only affect the people flying the F-5, or also people flying close to the F-5? (as the outside view has the same framerate-halfing)
  19. Somehow the conversation has changed to BFM and giving VR players the same super-human abilities that would in real life injure them. My original post was about limiting view towards the front on high G, like in real life. Also people posting leisure-flights as counter arguments to this:
  20. "to minimize the need to look around manually" HUD showing where the enemy is:
  21. It is specifically about turning your head while under heavy G-load. https://chatgpt.com/share/67082a44-7aa4-8002-a605-d2d71c6df01d
  22. Yeah, you can easily tell by people's situational awareness if they are snapping (unless they have GCI). But there is nothing like the experience of dog fighting with VR and I will never want it any other way.
  23. I'm more talking about this: Instead of blacking out as tunnel-vision, also black out the parts that you would not be able to see.
  24. I'm familiar with that from IL-2 that limits movement within the canopy. Yet giving audio/visual 'pain' feedback urging the player to stay within realistic abilities and masking the view outside the realistic field of view would make for more simulator-like dogfighting situations.
  25. So players are currently able to check their six under these conditions: I know this is a game, but 'G-effects' option should include limiting the abilities that will literally break your neck in reality. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/14736136/
