Everything is well for lining-up and attaching to the CAT. But when it's time to launch, i run-up the engines full dry and try to salute but nothing happens. The marshaler is still doing the visual signal but no way to be launched. I tried it with a new mission with a "slick" Carrier (but still the CVN-73), uninstall the only mod i have (grey MFD for the F-15E), try a to do a repair but the aircraft gets always stucked on the cat. The only way to get launched is to set full AB on the Cat. MSN4566.trk

Hi ! When TAA is selected after the 2.9 update, my 2nd and 3rd monitor are not rendered. Only the first one (left) is properly rendered. This doesn't happen with other antialiasing settings. Here is the capture:

You are right. Sorry for all! Please ED, do what you want with all aircraft systems, don't be any more precise and close to real Life because they are used by virtual sqn and so don't care about that......... If i want to play a virtual arcade game, i don't play DCS. This sim is the best simulator and will stay a simulator, not a virtual game as you said. So, do what you want with it, but if i say that simulating A2A engagement are not possible at this time without a BE in the Viper, this is because DCS is a sim and we are playing it as IN REAL LIFE! I'm sorry if you don't understand this fact but, PLEASE, stop to focus on the "playable" word... i think you can easly understand the sub-meaning of it..... By the way, the main point of this thread was to head up ED for the need of this BE, not to speak about the degree or sense of "unplayable". Keep it in mind if you want to recomit again without SA. Aim high!

This is maybe because you fight with "virtual tactics" in your "virtual sqn" but not as real one. Trust me, you can't play air to air combat in bvr without BE, whatever your sqn created as "tactics" or you can see on YT from arcade "pilot". You may trust me [emoji41] Aim high!

Auto lase is not yet implemented for the 24. In next update said Wags Aim high!

Yes but IRL, trigging at the beginning of the LAR drops the baby... this is not an ops convention, but the gbu in dcs doesn't work properly. For the lasing part of the bug i can't tell you how it runs IRL due to the fact it's a restricted data but lasing in final way should be far enough to get the tgt. IRL and in some conditions, leasing too much a gbu is not always a good idea... Aim high!

Still not here.... i looked into the code of the f16's MFD, and the code line exists but is desactivated beaucause not completed. I think this is a 30min work time for ED coders... so why still not here!!!!! PLEASE ED, your Viper is not playable in BVR without this!!! Aim high!

Yeh, the LAR calculation for jdam seems also to be broken. I will more investigate on this before to report as a bug. Aim high! -
Hello! Same here if not lased from very early. By the Way, the 24 is not launching every time. Often not working if trying to drop it at the beginning of the CLAR. Aim high!

Your "IRL pic" Is not what you may see IRL with your eyes! DCS Sky color is pretty close to real sky at all levels. The only false sensation of heigh is - i think - due to the lack of peripheral field of vision that your brain will not correlates as speed and so as height. But trust me, even at FL600, sky is not so dark as in your pic. This is due to contrast adaptation of camera: just compare the poor brightness of clouds under direct sun light in your picture... Aim high!

Hi pilots and ED team. I don't know if it could help you but i just try to install this mod (with proper zip correction for textures file) and the problem is solved (for MFD). FCR and HSD bullseye numbers +10000 ! I asked that a week ago but no one was interrested (as the post is concerned). We can't properly simulated a DCA or OCA flow without this implementation! Those who say we can do without it are arcade players, not simers... I don't think this is a really challenging work to do for ED and still don't understand why it's not yet done: I don't care about the Maverick under my viper... i wan't my cursor B.E. !!! :)
