I have this same problem -
My father, a retired F-4 WSO, and my Stepfather, retired F-4 Pilot both disagree. WSO would calculate the landing speed, and make airspeed calls from pattern entry to the ground...yes AoA tone was followed but not Always

Agreed, Jester should be making airspeed call-outs at least during the landing phase.

Gun burst quantity and Fuel tanks managment
Super-B replied to SturmVogel's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Yes, we would set the round count to 105 and on (limiter) for gunnery training. We would set it to 999 and on for normal training which left the gun in a safe state....for actual combat, the limit switch would be placed in the off position. BTW, all USAF Fighter Aircraft are flying with a loaded gun for weight and balance purposes. -
Feedback Thread - F-4E Phantom II Release Hotfix, June 5th 2024

First off, thank you for producing a Phantastic module. I have a request for a Jester fix. My father, a retired F-4 WSO asked me if Jester gives callouts during landing, and I said he gives altitude calls. He said the WSO would give Alt AND Airspeed callouts during the landing phase. Is this something that could be incorporated? -
Would love to see an answer for this

More photos of 67-0362 with the 58th TFS Udorn RTAB 1972, and a few pics from the same bird at Eglin prior to Midas gun mod and deployment to Udorn

67-362 was never a part of the Triple Nickle. It deployed with the newly reconstituted 58th TFS out of Eglin in 1972 to Thailand. The 58th, with their E models, made up part of a composite wing with the 555th, and their D models. This was a serious bone of contention with the Phliers in the 58th, as the Nickle boys got to fly their E's without proper aircraft transition. On 08 July 1972, Capt Steve Ritchie & Capt Ed DeBellvue scored two Mig-21 kills in this airframe, both with Aim-7s. The radar crapped out after the 3rd missile was fired.

Back in the day, I played Avalon Hill Panzer Blitz and Luftwaffe. Both were, for their time, great board games. I still have them, but have not played either since the 90's https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2238/panzerblitz https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/3646/luftwaffe-game-aerial-combat-over-germany-1943-45
