  1. Unfortunately I have the same. I had to uninstall the patch. I play on a laptop and after the patch the fans go crazy even on the start screen and the case heats up like an oven. Oddly enough after starting any mission the load on the processors decreases but is still higher than before the patch. DCS becomes unplayable - my wife is screaming at me to turn off that hair dryer!
  2. This is a huge inconvenience. It's 2025 now and this problem hasn't been fixed. It ruins multiplayer. Gentlemen, please take care of this.
  3. @Flappie I could have explained it badly (I'm using a translator). Yes, it's related to the open doors in the cargo area. However, it concerns the noise with the rotor already running. The cabin is as loud as if I stuck my head out the window. However, the cargo area is quiet (gunner's place). And the cockpit doors are closed. Mii8 door noise.trk
  4. This problem occurred a few updates back. I don't even remember when. It was so trivial that I didn't report it. I was counting on it being fixed in the next updates. There's no point in posting the track. Just choose mi8 with a shooter in the door and check it yourself
  5. With a loaded gunner in the left door, there is a large and unbearable noise in the cockpit. At the same time, the noise in the cargo hold increases slightly. It is more comfortable to fly as a gunner than as a pilot because it is quieter Isn't this a bug related to mixed sound paths? It looks as if the gunner's noise caused by the open door was played back in the cockpit, while the noise of the gunner's open door heard from the cockpit was played back in the gunner's seat.
  6. With these settings you can't fly! Every small deflection of the joystick causes the maximum deflection of the rotor. That's why you break it off. That's why you can't gently take off from the ground and stay hovering. Set the axes to default. Just add Curvature 15-20 and flying will start to be a pleasure. And one more thing. If you turn right, don't pull the pedals to the left. You also have broken axles there because the deflections are too aggressive. Fix that.
  7. Yes, I made sure. Generally, I quickly wrote down these logs, but the problem also affects other planes. I'm looking for the problem. I found that I used to have a mouse with many buttons and I have connections to these buttons. I'm slowly removing them in the profiles. I don't know if it will help, but I'm checking. I wonder if it's not related to dynamic slot selection and it applies to servers where there is no dynamic selection. I checked on the 4YA server and everything loads there without a problem. I don't know if it's a coincidence or if this is where the problem lies
  8. One file with freezes, the other with crash. dcsCrash1.log dcsFreezes.log
  9. The joy was short-lived. The problem returned. Now, the game sometimes completely shuts down after selecting a plane. I don't understand where the problem is anymore. One moment it's OK and then it freezes again. The first choice of plane/commander is problem-free - no matter what plane it is. After respawn and changing plane - crash.
  10. This is a massacre. When something breaks in DCS, there's no fu*** way to know why In general, I don't understand why this problem appeared at all, and after 24H2 installation. I thought something went wrong with my Windows update. I didn't need to reinstall it.!!!
  11. I found it! For me it's the Default folder in the Input folder Thanks a lot @Flappie for the discovery and for pointing me in the right direction. @AJaromir I also had a clean install. But I always copied my old files to Saved Games. Have you tried starting the game without your saves in INPUT?
  12. For those who encounter this problem. I had the same problem, the culprit turned out to be the Default folder (in the Input folder). When I deleted it, the planes loaded in the blink of an eye. From what I've noticed, each of us may have a different file causing problems, but the problem lies in INPUT. Thanks a lot @Flappie for discovering and pointing me in the right direction
  13. Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately it didn't help. Edit. I got so desperate that I deleted the entire INPUT folder. And here a miracle happened. The planes load in the blink of an eye. Now I have to find what's causing the problem. I've already deleted all the old files, old controllers, but something must still be sitting somewhere and causing problems.
  14. Hey, I've just had this problem. Everything was fine until I installed Windows 24H2 update. I was using 23H2 all the time, but eventually I gave in to the system's update reminders. And now I have the same problem as you. I've noticed that when the game hangs, dropping it to the bar and then picking it up again helps. At present, no known solutions seem to help.
  15. Same thing is happening to me. Unfortunately I don't have a track, it happened during a multiplayer game. For example, I attack a target in WP1. I change to WP2, but TGP stubbornly turns behind my back (no WP1). There is no way to cancel it. FCR also sticks to the point behind my back.
  16. I confirm. Something strange is happening with the display of sternpoints on the HUD. Despite the correct indications on the HSD, everything is shifted in the HUD and HMCS. Sometimes even by a dozen or so miles or raised several hundred feet up. The same applies to TGP and HUD. Despite the fact that through TGP I see a perfectly set sternpoint or a marked target, through HUD/HMCS the marker from TGP is significantly shifted or its altitude is raised. I have never noticed such behavior during a single player. It happens to me in multi player. However, at the first cold start everything is fine. The problem occurs when I land, rearm the plane and take off again with the same plane. Sometimes only after an hour, other times after 30 minutes. Unfortunately I cannot attach a track from the game. The files are over 100 MB. EDIT I am sharing a file from my server https://bonzo.iqhs.pl/share/Error HUD BLUE-FLAG.PERSIANGULF.MODERN.miz-dynamic-20240814-003557.trk
  17. Good decision. It's better to wait for a refined update than to cry that new bugs have appeared.
  18. After DCS 2.9.5.55300 When you select DOG FIGHT (Missile Override) mode on the throttle. The system does not save the radar settings. It also skips selecting ACM mode. Exiting DOG FIGHT mode and returning to it again causes, in addition to forgetting the ACM mode, also random selection of the "radar bar mode". Even "A0"??? This is an obvious mistake. Not to mention the fact that the DOG FIGHT mode on the throttle works badly from the beginning. This mode, both in the "outboard" + gun position and in the "inboard" position without gun + situational awareness guidance, should activate the radar in ACM mode by default. To select RWS / TWS modes, "master mode AA" is used. Unfortunately, I cannot provide the source of this information, which would confirm the operating modes of this system in F16. Finally, I am asking you to repair the memory of the DOG FIGHT mode and look into the problem of proper operation of this mode. Regards ACM bug.trk
  19. After update DCS 2.9.4.53549. I know there is a similar topic (closed), but the problem is not with the first alignment but with the plane's movement. During the Boresight procedure in flight, the Mavericks are not aligned with the TGP. However, when active pause is activated, the Mavericks are perfectly even. Additional information. Alignment can also be performed while parked at the airport. It seems that when the plane is in motion, boresight is impossible. The faster the image moves in TGP, the greater the alignment error. For example, fly lower or faster, the alignment has a larger error. Track attached. A brief description of the track record. Arming, take-off, the first boresight test is negative, the second boresight test during active pause is positive, the third boresight test during the flight spoils the alignment. no bore mav in flight.trk
