DCS MiG-29 SMT MOD DEVELOPEMENT by VinntoreZ (https://www.youtube.com/@vinntorez) I've made the separate thread so people dont confuse it with my previous project. The "humpy" MiG in DCS - the goal is to make the multirole modern variant 9.19 of the fulcrum. For now I'll use Plissken's MiG-29K/35 mod as a "base" - it has all the necessary lua for me to start the project and upgrade it further learning lua along the way. (Plissken himself encouraged me to do so lol - link to his dicord: https://discord.gg/STUmksME) My modding Discord with my other projects like Polish Modernised Migs: https://discord.com/invite/6yqcEngfE8 MOD PROGRESS Cockpit model and textures Done! External Model 90% Liveries One for now External Animations 75% Cockpit Animations 50% Custom Avionics and MFD 10% Pylons and external stuff 0% Flight model SFM for now Mod will have A/G and A/A versions based on Su-25T and Su-33, maybe a CWS in the future. For now the main focus is to make it work and make it as pretty as a begginer that I am can do. It will use R-27, R-77 and R-73 missile families for A/A and KH-29 as well as guided versions of KAB bombs for A/G (with TGP) I cant give estimated release date yet since this is my side project. Stay tuned for the SMT.

I'm pretty sure you're doing something wrong. Remember to have flaps up to use NWS, then hold the Lalt+q (or just hold the target lock button) Thanks to Growling Sidewinder for featuring my mod in the video!

That is planned in future updates although you can't just add pylons to fc3 planes so it will have to be a custom weapon. Just don't use the smoke pod on other planes with the mod installed

Its not an issue, you loaded smoke generator pod but didnt read in the readme that remove before flight 3d model replaces the one of r73u.

Yeah it did a pretty good job, but lets not pollute this thread by things not related to the mod

Polish is a difficult language that most translators often get wrong, but yeah its better than nothing. I mostly create videos in polish and for polish audience, thats why the patronite is in the same language, you might also notice that readme is in both english and polish. Fortunately, Polish modernised migs use english for cockpit and avionics

Thats good to hear, It might show flipped flightplan or sth. I'm glad you like it. Remember to use recommended liveries for maximum polish experience ;D For some reason, your cockpit textures are still default, are you using any custom cockpit skins? If yes try selecting default in special settings

Poland had 2 modernisation, planes from two airbases had them. 22BLT planes have an additional radio on right side of front panel, simple hud camera and a Trimble GPS receiver on the right side. Outside, it has additional small antenna behind canopy and strobe lights (it was nato requirement to add strobes) 23BLT planes have more recent modernisation that changes hud camera for UFC control panel and the HDD is now a vertical 4x5 MFD that shows navigation and datalink aid. Also there's an additional radio on left console as well as custom WZL2 IFF panel with MFD on right console. Outside it has IFF antennas on the nose that look like from F-16, strobes and a big antenna behind cannopy. Slovak modernisation doesn't have the additional radio on front panel, it has different UFC (with a little screen like in some MiG-29 SMT's or MiG-29K) and an MFD that replaces HDD but it is horizontal. Outside it has similar IFF antennas on the nose.
