  1. I am not sure why it is language dependent for some, but not for others. Some how the file paths get messed up. I'll keep looking into it and try to teach myself a bit about localization.
  2. Thanks. A few more questions if you have the time: Does this happen on every .pdf file you try to import or just one? Are there any special characters in the .pdf name or the path name? And I am assuming your system language is Portuguese, correct?
  3. Could you please look at your windows error logs right after you try running Kneeboard Builder and let me know the details for any errors you have listed for Kneeboardbuilder.exe or save the log and pm me a copy For windows 10: right click on the start menu -> computer management -> expand 'event viewer' -> expand 'windows logs' -> click on application To save your all events: right click on application -> save all events as -> enter a name and save as an Event File (.evtx) To save select events: control-left click on the event(s) you want to save -> right click -> save selected events -> enter a name and save as an Event File (.evtx) E-mail the event log to me at s13solutions@gmail.com. Thanks.
  4. I can't quite make out what the error says. Do you have a higher resolution image? Thanks.
  5. I haven't forgot about you; just busy with kid stuff. I'll look into it a bit more and see what I can find out.
  6. The app determines which one is used. I looked over your crash logs and it appears you are having a crash that commonly occurs with a corrupt .NET installation or a corrupt system file. Try running Microsoft's System Checker Tool by following these instructions: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
  7. Just e-mail them to me at s13solutions@gmail.com. Sorry I forgot to include that in my post above. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for letting me know about the problem you are having. Could you please look at your windows error logs right after you try running Kneeboard Builder and let me know the details for any errors you have listed for Kneeboardbuilder.exe or save the log and pm me a copy For windows 10: right click on the start menu -> computer management -> expand 'event viewer' -> expand 'windows logs' -> click on application To save your all events: right click on application -> save all events as -> enter a name and save as an Event File (.evtx) To save select events: control-left click on the event(s) you want to save -> right click -> save selected events -> enter a name and save as an Event File (.evtx) If you can't upload an .evtx file then a text file will do.
  9. Version 1.6.7.4 Released Version 1.6.7.4 is now available. Changelog - Fixed program crash when switching between DCS versions after selecting an aircraft kneeboard in the custom kneeboard page - Fixed default kneeboard pointing to wrong folder location - Added ability to modify Caucusus, Nevada and future terrain default kneeboards seperately IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to a file system change implemented in DCS World versions 1.5.3 and 2.0.1, this version of Kneeboard Builder may not modify the default kneeboards correctly for prior versions of DCS World.
  10. Thanks for letting me know!
  11. I'll get the newest version uploaded in a few hours. I had some things popup I have to take care of first. Thanks.
  12. After installing the update I just put out, on the 'Create Custom Kneeboard' page select the L-39 as the aircraft and use the 'Select Kneeboard' dropdown list to choose between the different L-39 versions.
  13. Version 1.6.7.3 Released Version 1.6.7.3 is now available. Changelog - Fixed 'modify groups' GUI not allowing image reorder - Added 'modify groups' GUI drag-drop reorder - Added ability to choose between L-39C and L-39ZA kneeboards - Other minor improvements NOTE: To transfer your L-39C groups to the new L-39 group folder in your Kneeboard Builder -> 'Kneeboard Groups' folder rename the 'L-39C' folder to 'L-39'.
  14. I don't think ED has supplied any default airfield charts or anything for the OpenAlpha yet. However, the 476th Virtual Fighter Group has put together a package of charts for Nevada and they are available as a single pdf from their website here: http://www.476vfightergroup.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=405 Let me know if you need any help importing the .pdf file into Kneeboard Builder.
  15. It looks like the dynamic kneeboards are loading the data from the last singleplayer mission you flew. When DCS switched over to 1.5 and 2.0 they changed the way multiplayer missions are unpacked and loaded compared to singleplayer missions so the dynamic kneeboards are no longer working correctly in multiplayer missions. I am still working on trying to get that functionality back for the MP environment.
  16. I am not sure. I am unfamiliar with exporting viewports as I have never had a second monitor.
  17. Sorry. I have been busy with work and haven't been able to look into it further. Have you tried running it as an administrator and do you have any drive encryption like bitlocker? I am not sure why Kneeboard Builder is unable to locate the two required files on your system.
  18. It is greyed out because it cannot find or is not allowed access to one or both of the following files: "...\Saved Games\DCS\Config\options.lua" or "...\DCS World\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\ViewportHandling.lua" Generally that will happen if you have not selected the correct version of DCS World you have installed (Standard, OpenAlpha, or OpenBeta) in the 'Options -> Preferences' window. Make sure you have the correct DCS World installation directory set and the correct Saved Games folder selected.
  19. Hi Fakum, Sorry for the late reply. I've been putting in a very long work week. Use 'Options -> Kneeboard Settings' to reposition and resize the kneeboard. It will prompt you to create a kneeboard profile and once you save that profile you can select it using the taskbar icon from the taskbar. Since this uses the kneeboard built into DCS you can only move the kneeboard within the DCS window and you won't be able to 'export' the kneeboard by itself to a second monitor. For example if you have two screens and have DCS only displaying on one screen you will only be able to move the kneeboard withing the confines of that one screen. If you have DCS displaying over both screens then you should be able to move them within the confines of both screens. Hopefully that helps.
  20. If Windows blocks the program there should be an option to run the program anyway. It is due to having a low reputation because it doesn't have a large pool of users.
  21. You could try Lilkiki's lights: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2454924&postcount=1
  22. Did you make sure to point the Kneeboard Builder app to your OpenAlpha installation in 'Options -> Preferences'?
  23. I am not sure how that works (if it even does work). I am assuming it is still a work in progress.
  24. Yes that is the case.
  25. It sounds like Ghostscript (the pdf converter) is not working correctly for you. I will take a closer look and see if I can figure out why.
