  2. Are you guys not aware that anyone with graphical knowledge will be able to get the 3D model, regardless of whether you encrypt it or not? At the end of the day, this just harms the community and solves almost nothing.
  3. They're working on making the MFD right now, along with other stuff. The mod was initially released without the capabilities that the squadron had, like custom HUD symbology to help with lofting rockets, selecting airfields, etc., but they've since changed their mind and decided to work on it after receiving the amount of positive support they did.
  4. Hey, guys. Quick update on where the Ka-52 mod is at right now AligaTTore is working for IL2 right now and says that he plans to go back to work with the Ka-52 mod once he's done with working on IL2. At least this is what I've heard, and I don't want to come across as saying that no work is being done on the mod
  5. Thanks. I agree, it's not feasible at all. Also, are there documents on the F-4E AUP that are public? I can't remember if file sharing is allowed on here or not.
  6. Or it's just that if ED is going to attempt to create a plane that they can't bring up to the standard of what I consider a DCS module, they might as well go all out and do a 3F instead of an extremely uncapable version of the plane that even if they did, they still wouldn't be able to achieve a reasonable accuracy/level of depth and probably still wouldn't give it their all. The average DCS player probably wouldn't even find it enjoyable to fly anyways.
  7. There was, in fact, an F-4E AUP mod that was being made. But I haven't heard any news of it, besides about a year ago the creator saying it was on hold until HB released their F-4E. But again, it's not really a "HB, please make this!". It's just me wondering if the info to make a proper module for it is out there.
  8. Hope this isn't off topic, but since it's related to the F-4E, I thought it'd be best to ask here. If it isn't, I'll delete it. Would an F-4E AUP ever be possible see in DCS as a module? As in, is there enough documentation and sources on it that'd allow for it to be a DCS module? Really just wondering. This isn't a plea for HB to make one.
  9. My pin fell into the base as well (or at least I think it did LOL). Super frustrating, because now the two throttle grips aren't connected together as well. Winwing should design this better. Also, they're charging me 40+ dollars to buy a new pin.
  10. That guy is just an upset REDFOR/Russian, and I say that with all due respect.
  11. Do you guys offer training to get people started on performing real-world procedures and communicating effectively?
  12. This is a very big problem, but what do you want me or ED to do about it? "Hi, I'll get a Su-30 with a side of all Russian ED employees being arrested." My guy, did you even read this thread?
  13. No, you said that you knew there'd be some F-35 pilot complaining about the module, and I'm saying that what you do is get in contact with them and find out what's wrong with your module, what they don't like, etc.
  14. This We've seen it before. What makes us think it'll be different this time? They've already dragged themselves into an EA pit, and the only way to get out of it is actually focusing on those aircraft and taking a break from trying to rush out the next biggest aircraft. A-10C II is still missing stuff, F-16, F/A-18C, etc. I can only hope though. As for the Block, yep, Block 3F or go home. I too have no interest in a pre-IOC F-35.
  15. What you can do is work with them to make your module better. Honestly, the best depiction they'd be able to make for an F-35 would probably be having quite a lot of time to model their F-35 after a simulator. But ED's ties to the East kind makes me second guess they'd even get that opportunity.
  16. Sorry, misread a post.
  17. Totally agree. In the meanwhile, I suggest you look into things like DCS Moving Map. It's exactly in the name. If you use it with OpenKneeboard, then you can have the program display a moving map (with tons of options, different maps, symbology, etc.) and move it around to the bottom right corner of screen, adjust size, and so on. I do understand that it's not exactly like real life, since it displays your present position and can display other things, but you can most likely turn most of those off. But that's a mod. We should really get what you said in the core game, ASAP!
  18. Of course, but even if you're not purchasing modules, the game's still going to just get larger and larger. The hotfix today was over 40 gigs for some people. You'd have to quite literally stop updating your DCS.
  19. 100% agree. I'm having to upgrade my storage to continue playing this game. Some of the things being added to this game are just unnecessary.
  20. I'm not too fond of having a 205-gigabyte map, I'd much prefer to rock the current phase one 110 gig version. Can/will phase 2 and 3 be optional installs, like Afghanistan? Thank you
  21. Can we expect the VRAM requirements to drop over time? It's very concerning, as it seems like I won't be able to run this map without some troubles.
  22. Fulda Gap is releasing this month according to the recent newsletter
  23. Awesome! Are the LCACs placeable units or just embedded onto the map? Possible asset pack?
