  1. Hello gents As we already announced The gazelle will be released with only the Viviane HOT missile version at first. It means the camera, the TV and the weapons stands won't be remove-able. Second step will be to add different weapons to the gazelle module. And then everything will be remove-able and change-able. Additionnal weapons will be released through updates of the module.
  2. Hello Gents Happy Easter to everybody, we are on vacation for the Easter hollidays. We do plan more weapons than the HOT and are working on them already, although only the HOT version will be available at release. We will update the gazelle weapons step by step for free after the release. About licenses, we got an official approval by the manufacturer AIRBUS HELICOPTERS, which should answer the license question.
  3. Hi Basically the autopilot behaves like a stability augmentation system (SAS) and also features auto-hover, speed hold, altitude hold modes, plus the ability to slave the helicopter movements to the camera when targeting.
  4. Hi Gents The gazelle HOT missile wire can be cut if you use some positions of the missile station selector at the missile console. The length of the wire is 4300m, so if the target moves further than 4300m the cable will be cut and the missile will go balistic too. The possibility to cut the wire with trees or other terrain objects is not simulated.
  5. Hello Gents Sorry for the delay, but you can imagine we are a bit busy at the moment finishing the Gazelle. Viviane camera movements are limited +-120° left/right and 13°up/18°down The missile needs some conditions to be met to be fired, among them +-3° from the camera line of sight max There's an autopilot mode to slave the helicopter movements to the camera when targeting All these datas will be available in the manual
  6. FishDoctor, Yes, you can aim and shoot while in auto hover and while flying straight too with this module. I should add, only the copilot can shoot for what has been simulated. Hope it answers your question.
  7. Yes, that's exactly what the gazelle's target would think before blowing up :)
  8. Autopilot modes can be switched on while flying as copilot too : altitude hold, speed hold, auto hover, and slaved to the camera targeting point mode too. An auto-collective feature can be switched on or off while in auto hover. What I was able to do is to shoot at targets while in auto hover or flying level with altitude or speed hold modes switched on. The copilot can also pilot the helicopter "manually".
  9. The copilot as AI, targeting and shooting, is a feature that was not planned, it's still not planned at the moment.
  10. Hello Gents, Gizzy, Thanks for the link We are going to stay close to the real thing, so things that are not part of the real helicopter won't be simulated.
  11. Bonjour, Polychop Simulations recherche un programmeur : Attendu : - être familier avec DCS et les fichiers lua - Visual studio 2013 C++ installé et opérationnel Merci de nous contacter à info@polychop-sims.com
  12. Hi Gents, Currently I'm making available all cockpit commands, as soon as it's done, I'll have a look at what to export.
  13. Hi Gents, Simulation of the limits of the joystick inputs like the real gazelle +2.5G à +3G (a bit higher than planned from the manufacturer) -1.5G à -2G In real when reaching the limits the joystick becomes harder and harder to move and warns you to calm down before you loose all controls In the sim if you reach these limits you will loose controls and recover them as soon as conditions are ok again 2 small vids with joystick in full positions https://youtu.be/Y42pHsEZOUk https://youtu.be/MB6YXpuwyvg

    Skins?

This was a try with british antennas, but they won't be part of the final model.
  17. The camera can be used without removing the cable cutters, same for the ADF homing system.
  18. Hi Gents, We are looking for native english people with a british accent for English characters of our campaign voicing. We need you to be able to show "emotion" in your way of speaking, so some theater skill is welcome. If you are interested in this opportunity please contact dimitriov by PM, he'll provide you with all details and the stuff we need you to do. Thank you for your time.
  19. Only more recent ones, not with this CRT TV as far as I know. Don't forget the Gazelle is a 70's helicopter.
  20. Ok, I just checked, no Helicopter symbol will show at the RWR screen. The TV moving map was a feature at the start of the project. To reflect the real counter part, the simulated CRT has been reworked to display only black and white, and no moving map now. An IR view is available too and all commands are fonctional through the video command box or the "board commander" (copilot) joystick, the one fixed at the cabin strut.
  21. Guys, this is only a list of reserved symbols. I'll build a list of which symbols will actually appear as soon as I can. This module will feature only HOT missiles and the APX 397 (Viviane)
  22. So the first question I'll answer is about the RWR system. The Gazelle is equiped with a RWR system composed of 4 cells (2 forward and 2 at the tail) and a display in cockpit DRAXX 33 between the TV display and the main Dashboard. The simulated DRAXX 33 displays only radar emission sources, and radar missile launch too. A custom symbolgy is used. No IR sources detected and displayed though. Here's the list of symbols used by the module, this list may change in time. 23. Hi Gents, I created a new thread to update about the Gazelle module features. So people who are looking at such data will have only one place to go. Please feel free to ask here and I'll answer as soon as possible. Thanks.
  24. Hi gents I'll create a new thread about module features so there will be one place to get such answer. The Gazelle is equiped with a RWR system composed of 4 cells (2 froward and 2 at the tail) and a display in cockpit DRAXX 33 The simulated DRAXX 33 display only radar emission sources, and radar missile launch too. A custom symbolgy is used not so far from the real one I presume. More info in the new thread :)
