Because we have the resources to implement those possible solutions then this site was successful. If you would please do not stifle and limit the technological capabilities of this forum. If you read this you'll find ED is not going to crunch code well agree it's not a priority, it is something worthy for ED could add to a wish list. There are several ways to plot a target, this one is a digitally received message from JTAC, he sends a 9 line, then in the end sends you "DATA". this is SIM only not Game. I can only help in SIM. you not going to get much help up here with Game mode.. nor with the u-tubes. I think this is the tube I learned with

Both Easy quick missions have JTAC, and have Frequency set to 131 in there advanced Tasks..

This is good feed back, well done. the tubes will help validate what you read here. The incoming sound is a file of its own, it has no Idea what channel the JTAC is on, only the person who knows is whom recorded it. it is possible for the sound recording to not jive with the JTAC radio task. I know how to check it, but I need it in front of me to explain it. I'll look when I get in "The Pit" tonight, I'll then need to post a retraction when I find the task is in fact 131, I seem to recall 131 is correct.

Yes, I don't have a link to one, but there are great u-tubes on doing JTAC missions, Google this and watch a few, I found one that turned on the light for me.. Not in that mission, but its possible to kill his targets, unwittingly. he will not even respond to the request. like he's mad at us or something. but still find the U-tube, its about going through all the radio coms, he is likely waiting on you to F1 in the comms window. ultimately he will send you a tasking to be wilco'ed in the TAD U-tube will explain it all, sorry I don't have a link to one.

I'm sorry If I spoiled the soup, I've hijacked the thread and I apologies, I tend to do that at family dinners to. I was trying to prod someone to show us something I think I already know how to do now. I have three victims that fly with me and my training missions. I'd like us to each have a skin. I simply arm us all with skins, my question is now answered,, Duh... A public server with a bunch of clients would be a true hassle. The question then in hopes to not be "that guy" perhaps could be a viable workaround that may not be so troublesome. As one of the clients, do the other clients in that server have to have my skin to see me in all my bling bling? I then in turn need all their skins to see their bling? I was under the notion that only the host needed the skin. Is there a way the host could read one of my LUA files perhaps via a mission script?, Viable if only host needs my skin. I don't what the host writing anything to my PC if I need others skins. we need some way to protect the host from crappy skins/script. wow, I keep finding bad Ideas. I'm swearing I seen some one do this in a mission, but it was an Invite mission with attendees already known, I didn't load any one else's skin to my PC I swear it, and it worked.

Really though, why would we want our own skin?, Bling, Bling? or perhaps some one could get in a host mission, see my craft and join up with me or keep any on me till in the air and shoot me down.. (like Red Baron..hahah, as if). If coms are lost, fuselage ID would be needed right? I guess I just don't see this a "priority". but what do I know.. Oh, and does not all the other clients and the host also have to have the skin on their system to see my skin? I think my Idea is a bad one...

Ok, but could you send the host your skin and he add it to his mission or something? if so what steps does he got through to add it, doesn't seem like it'd be too big a trick to add using JGSME, the host could later just remove it, after the missions? Ask the client to make his skin JGSME compliant? sorry, being the instigator...

I'm not new to DCS just new to multiplayer and learning much from the fine bunch of criminals I've been flying with. I sort of figured this was the solution, funny I've not been able to find a hint on that with all the keywords used, they are all basic words that displayed most all messages ever sent. This was like the cheating wife, ever one knew but me..hahahah

Don't mind me then. I never made them work and gave up on that long time ago. I'll keep and eye on the post, perhaps some one will have that little clue, I too would like to implement them, I want to make them flash when I left my flaps down or brakes open. (yes.. I still screw that up from time to time:) Perhaps just letting it crashing it would learn me...hahahaha I'm working on other things but I'll try your code as soon as I can, perhaps I can still help..

Not sure where I should have started this, its seem its in folder that doesn't get followed. We seem to only ones seeing this issue, or no body really cares about there flight logs, or it never really worked and every one just gave up on it. I'm not ready to bump over to 1.2.8 just yet, If it works there then I'll go away, till I update. Does someone knows what I need to do to 1.2.7 I'd like to implement that, other wise I'll keep track manually and the cheat it, and hope it gets fixed. I'm not sure what the goal is sorry for that. Perhaps you know this already, but the LEDs on the MFCD can be dim'ed and all turned off using the Devices and Printers? Select the MFCD and edit its properties. I've never been able to set these from Target. Your code is one I've not yet tried, but I will when I can. I set them to dim as well as turn off those eye burners from the game controller properties. If I'm off the chart here sorry and never mind.

I noticed HUGE improvement in ARMA and DCS when I loaded the GTX780 with 335.23. I dedicated my PhysX to my extra GTX card, and I asked my page file to use only my E:\, I notice significant improvement to look and performance with DCS. All this occurred almost simultaneously, so I can't attribute any improvement to any one thing except perhaps 335.23. The limits I was seeing with my 580 had more to do with the driver. If it improved ARMA, I've not the sense of it, the 580 works great, the drivers before 335.23 suck.

The words I’m using for my research on this returns more hits than I can sift through, does someone have links or hints for me to find a fix for this. We noticed during our training that our Logbooks are not being updated while in Multiplayer, both the host and client are not logging. We have been in “the pit” almost every night, anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. Inside of two weeks We/I have lost I’m guessing 40 to 70 hours of quality flight time. Anyone have a tip for us do we fix this?

Heads up 337.50 is available. Other seem to be using it fine with Shadow Play, I can't try it till its released. I give you what's left of my luck, if you should choose that pill.

Sorry, my testing will have to wait, I didn't realize this was Beta drivers. I have a self imposed rule to stop beta testing, I don't have the money to test NVidia drivers. I cooked a GTX480m with a beta driver. Sager in their coolness warrantied this. Thumbs up for sager if you want a really powerful laptop/Desktop replacement. I'm sorry for being a chicken. 235.23 is the most stable I've used to this data at any time. Jumping to new nvida drivers got sealed in concrete when the released version $#!t my bed using the Shadow Play. I'll wait till 237 is released.

The Jeep looks great sitting next to my A10C. Thank you, thank you...Its Awesome, I wish I had the real one in my drive way. oh well I have a pretend one now, and I have my 95 to drive. Wish I could pretend to drive it. I never could drive any of them, I'm guessing every one else can. I've followed directions from several threads, all use similar procedure's, It just tells me that vehicle is not drive able. all vehicles tell me this.. Yes, making your LAAP handy is a good thing, particularly the ALT hold. This allows you to set curves to maintain an orbit with no hands on the stick, then press the Autopilot|altitude hold. now you can have a bit more time with eyes in the pit to set-up for/find targets. "don't stand around on a corner in a bad neighbor hood"

I'm on 235.23 drivers, the Shadow HARD crashes my machine, to Tomorrow I'll load the new drivers, I don't know what version it is, but I'll try it shortly and let you know what I find..
