Like Thisdale is saying precicely we have a problem to see the host server name in the multiplayer screen. And the day befor the patch it was working perfectly. I could host a game and all of our friends could join up. This latest patch seams to have some issues with connections. Hope ED can figure out a quick patch soon. -
I finally mange to fix with the correct paths this mod. Since I am not the owner of this mod, I cant post it directly here I think... but if you PM me, I will be glad to share it from my drive. ++

Hello again everybody, I did some investigation... after a quick look I think I might know why its not working with JSGME... the folder path are changed since a couple of version now in dcs... the terrain is somewhere else. The location of the vfstexture folder for example is located here in the JSGME package: DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstextures and in the DCS folder there is no more Terrain at this location, but now found under : DCS World\Mods\terrains\CaucasusBase\vfstextures Only this could explain a few things...

Same for me it does not work... you know there is no more seasons setting in the mission editor...for it to work in Georgia what date, and month should it work on? Nice work on starway again for this beautiful mod...cant wait to try this in this Vietnam era with the F-5 :thumbup:

Yes this template is very much requested and needed :) plz if anybody is building one, plz share. I'm working on a RCAF livery at the moment, I will share my PSD when done, unless we get a real template with separate details in layers... for not its getting hard to do something that can be shared and usefull. ++

Remember the yellow UI visual aid we see during tutorial missions in cockpit to highlight buttons, etc... ? This is not working at the moment in VR, and it would be very usefull to be fixed in future update. I didnt read all the topics on this and so I'm not sure if this bug as been reported. :smartass: image ref UI tuto

try this : go in the option icon, controls on the left side, in the drop down General selector , select UI Layer found at the bottom of the list. then at the bottom of those keys function you get : "toggle VR zoom" here you go! apparently now for vr the regular feature of the zoom that we were use to is different now. probably because of vr different behaviors. :)

Hi, What does do the option of pixel density related to VR technically ? since the resulution cannot display more pixels, what does this feature actually do? I'm trying to understand if I see a difference or not. many thx :helpsmilie:

I am having problem with the multi menu ... Right now its too narrow in the square to see the whole range of the ui menu with VR. :lol: It would be nice in the next update if we could get : - A scroll slider to be able to see all the text and buttons. Or - Change in the ratio of the display menu. Instead of having a square we could have a 16:9 ratio window showing the full range of the UI. In addition, I would suggest that the floating window could stay fixed in place, in order for us to be able to get closer to see any images used in brief and text all around. All this would be great to increase details since at the present tech of VR display is currently missing.

And, it's a good thing we are still reporting this feature that we dont like... to be sure they dont implement it in the next update. Stay with something that is working please. :) It was already awoesome as is ! no step back! :) eheh

I am not using 2 because of this feature that scrapped everything with the rift :( in the Mirage its hard or impossible to get some buttons unless your part of a circus acrobat :)

Hi, I was wondering since the Rift and HTC are out now, why there was not a separate main thread With this in mind. This could be usefull no ? On the other hand, the reason why I would like this to be is that I think it would be great to regroup all topic related to VR somewhere in one main chapter. We could find -all mods mostly used specific to VR -tips and tricks related to VR -report bug specific related to VR -support with DCS related topics on VR, best used, tips and tricks, how to ... Thats just a start... And while I'm at it I have a question, request related to the kneepad in VR : I was wondering if someone is using a mod for the Kneepad that is making the kneepad visible in VR ? At the moment, I can't see it when I do RShift+K and since via the F10 map we cannot see the flight plan its not very usefull. :( In advance, many thx

assign landing destination to aircraft Hi, I have just made a mission with a C-17A controllable by player with the CA module and we are having problem solving the mission goal. Is there a way to control the aircraft in order to tell him toland somewhere? or to simply to resume his original flight plan? anybody has any clue on how to solve this? Here is some description for you to understand what I am trying to do with this mission. -- We are escorting a C-17A transport with 2 M2000 to an airbase up north... but during the flight a couple of SAM position have been spotted by friendly and we are asked to re-route the plane to halt our progression until the CAS support manage to destroy the threath for us to pass over when its safe. So basically we would interect on the C-17A during flight with the CA module to alter its course and then when safe send him back to resume its original destination to land, or assign him to land... and here is the problem... we can't find a way once the airplane has been under our control to simply tell him to resume or land :( many thx for your help !

I wont be able to help you on that topic Richard I'm sorry... Maybe check in the Forum support for help on the updater and post there... people might have the same problem shared there. Here I was most focusing on the Oculus driver problem with DCS versions. Good luck ++ -

I just tested it... in deed it looks like it does not work anymore... but my guess it is linked with the new Oculus runtime 0.8. (my current installation is with this 0.8 version ...since it is needed for the DCS alpha with Nevada build, and works greath) Running the 0.8 with older version of DCS seam now that it is not working anymore. Have you tried to test it under the 0.6 version ... My guess it will get to work again on this older version. Many other games are broken now on the Runtime 0.8. But for games devellopers that are updating their game with the latest Build of Oculus (0.8), its getting better and better in performance and stability. Cant wait for the Consumer version realease of the Rift... this will so change our sim world. :lol: -

Thank you Sid. I finnally found what was the problem. There was a conflict with the USB Screen Driver (Display Link) that I was using before for my multi screen setup. Now much more on the Oculus, I really dont need it. Removing this driver fixed the problem completely. -

Hi Sid, Thx for taking this time to try to help me with a solution. I just tried it and unfortunatly even after doing this step by step my system with those version does seam to get to work again... I'll have to stay with 0.6 I guess under 1.2.7 to fly with the Oculus. -

I guess its a problem with my system then... since the 0.7 update, not only in DCS it does not work anymore, but even just the demo test doesnt even want to work. still I have no solution to make it work on my system... not a problem with DCS 1.5 but its the 0,7 of Oculus. in 0.6 Oculus with the 1.2.7 its working properly. cant wait for the CV1 version to come out in Q1 2016. -
(I dont know why my previous post on the same subject was closed , and since I could not have people replied to it, so sorry but I am asking again here with a bit more details) Hello , I'm having problem to get the Oculus working on DCS 1.5. I did the update of Oculus Runtime 0.7, but in DCS 1.5 it's not working anymore. It was working perfectly on DCS 1.2.7 with Oculus runtime 0.6. but now with this latest 0.7 I can't make it work. Here is what I did to try making it work and maybe someone can help me out. Did I miss something ? 1) I have un-installed the Oculus Runtime 0.6 2) installed the Oculus Runtime 0.7 3) started DCS 1.5 and selected the option : Auto Detect Oculus Rift. 4) Exit DCS 1.5 5) restarted DCS 1.5 After this, I see on my main screen the DCS window but can't figure how to make it work displayed in the Oculus...? Anybody have any clue on why it not working? Is there anything more than the oculus runtime 0.7 that I need to install Please if you dont have any clue and yours got to work, just tell me your install process steps I guess this will help me in a sense :) Any other help on this will be very appreciated guys !
