bmbpdk replied to bmbpdk's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
hmm, make sure that you dont use the shortcut in logitech profiler, but start logitech profiler and then start the game as you did before (Right-clicking the game-shortcut, and choose "run as admin") -

1) Import the profile in Logitech Profiler 2) Make sure that the joystick has ID1 (Is displayed in the Logitech Profiler) 3) Start the game by right-clicking on the game exe file and choose "Run as admin". That should do it, hope that helps you. if it doesn help, then post a screenshot of the error and i will try to help you as much as i can -
thanks eddie :)

I was thinking of that, perhaps you could post a picture of how you did that? What about heat-dissipation from the sensor?
-
try moving the sensor slightly to one side, as ive done. the track clip pro sits on the left side of my headset and therefor i need to move it (sensor) to the left, if it was on the right side, i had to move it (sensor) to the right

Last night i couldn get my TIR5 to work properly, it jumped and bounced around like a squirrel in a peanut factory, and today i found out why... The TIR5 uses light as input-source (no surprise), but what i didn knew, was that every bright light-source may interfere with the sensor. I have my pc in one end of my livingroom, and 7-8m (approx. 22-24 feet) away i have a lamp with three diodes. These three diodes is almost the exact pattern as the three diodes in the track clip pro (yep, what a "LOL-example" of bad luck), and there for the sensor sees two track clip pro. The pictures below perhaps describes it better than me: Above is my pc-setup, with the sensor sitting atop of my monitor Above is my lamp with the three diodes, note the pattern they sit in The proof: The green dots are from the track clip pro, and the red dots are from my lamp :megalol: So if your TIR suddenly acts as the squirrel in a peanut factory, the check for interfering light-sources EDIT: A lighter also interfers with the sensor

try making more distance between you and the reciever, i had your proplem in the beginning, but when i moved my reciever 5-10cm (1/3 of a feet) backwards, the problem was solved

That was just the only option that i could think off, that perhaps should require a monthly fee, without "forcing" everyone to pay for something they perhaps dont use

The last few years ive played a game/sim called Railsimulator/railworks. The add-on market for it is enormous; extra routes, trains, sound packs, etc. To get the most out of that sim, you need to purchase some of the add-ons, and that makes the game expensive. If ED decides to "rely" on these add-ons to secure a future for the game, many players will back out, because you will spend alot of hard-earned money on it, money the most of us dont have. If ED will sell "premium-user" add-ons for a reasonably price, i would say yes, othervise no. At the other hand, a small monthly subscription-fee for the multiplayer-part, perhaps 5-10 USD, would be ok, because then each player could choose whether or not to use this function, many players dont use this function. A member in a clan/group/wing would then feel that they are worth spending, and players that dont play multiplayer, dont have to play for a function he/her dont use. In short: Pay for a function you use, dont pay for a function you dont use

Hi all, im building my own campaign, and so far ive made 3 missions. But im kinda stuck with a question.. How can i make the friendly AI laser designate/paint a target for bombs? Ive read several threads and lines in the manual, but i cant find a solution, perhaps ive just missed the lines. Ive tried to look at current user made missions and how they are build, but again, i cant find the lines on how to do it. The old saying "You only see what you know" is pretty appropiate :-D Perhaps the lines are there but i dont know what to look for. Thanks in advance bmbpdk
