thanks for the correction, ive used data and specs from the russian version of "janes" (The international defence encyclopedia), there website is warfare.ru but i guess i need to correct the specs as they are in-game and not as in real life :)

sounds good, thanks for reporting back :-D

one way to deal with that, is to tape it in with only a 1cm x 1cm spot left( on the lightsticks) the IR-beacons had a "volume" knob, to increase/decrease the light coming out
-
great idea! We used IR lightsticks/IR strobes almost on every operation in Iraq (I was in a mechanised infantry coy in basrah sector), and the apache pilots appreciated that alot. We used them in other ways as well, but thats classified.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Rnj3SJ6PP0 Game: DCS A-10c Warthog Developer: Eagle Dynamics Song: Clint Mansell - Requiem for a Dream - Remix Video by: bmbpdk The game was originally made for the United States Air Force, but have now been public available. The best and most intense Combat flight simulator EVER! A big thanks to Eagle Dynamics for making this simulator! Im using TrackIR 5 to look around, without that, i would be dead many times. Objective: CAS (Close Air Support) for NATO-forces against russian forces Threat: Massive air defence cover, heavy armor, light armor, enemy aircraft Callsigns are classified The editing was a pain, and there are still some ****ups, but i think i got it pretty good anyway. I tried to make the music and video/images blend together I chosed to leave the ingame sound on, since it gave a really good sense of intensity, and its ok if you get a cold feeling down your back, i do :-D PS: The graphics are better in-game, windows movie maker sometimes f*cks the quality up

thanks for the support, but ill wait till i have the green light from ED, dont wonna get into trouble :)

Hi, ive made the first mission in the "Shore" campaign playable. Meaning that the F-16 SEAD and your wingmen takes off. I would like to ask for permission to upload here on this forum, the reason for that im asking for permission is that ive edited in the original mission-file, and i dont want anyone to slam me for uploading it without asking for permission first

i guess that you then can overclock it pretty much, my i7 920 is overclocked to 4ghz with a zalman fan/cooler, and it never goes above 65-70 celcius in core temperature with a load of 95% for 2 hours. Normally when i play A-10c, with settings maxed up, the CPU load i between 5-20% and internal core temp at 40-55 celcius

Try the following 1) I often use the freeware CCleaner, just google it, it can perform wonders for your pc 2) When uninstalling programs, dont use the windows controlpanel, use instead the freeware version of revo uninstaller, have been using it for years without any problem 3) Make sure that you have your antivirus up-to-date and do a full scan every week 4) Make sure that your windows and all of your drivers are fulle updated That should perhaps improve your pc performance

1) No answer 2) The new config/setup/pilot profile is located at: C:\users\"your user"\saved game 3) No answer 4) That is because of low hydralic preasure, atleast in my game 5) Turn on ground power, shut down engines and that should give you a "controlable" plane (remember that the plane switches on "Ground safe" mode, wich disable some funtions) But why on earth would you try to raise your landing gear when on the ground?!

Hi all, i had some time to spare today, and put this pdf/overview together, to give a quick overview of the different russian air defence system in the game DCS A-10c. Ill hope it will help you guys/girls to have the proper tactic ready for dealing with those beast. I personally think that Russia are the leader and master of Air Defence systems, perhpas because the USA is the leader and master of Air Power :) Any suggestions are welcome http://www.mediafire.com/?fc1gi6ccjy18e

hmm, make sure that you dont use the shortcut in logitech profiler, but start logitech profiler and then start the game as you did before (Right-clicking the game-shortcut, and choose "run as admin")
