An RDAF F-16 had a gearretraction failure on takeoff some time ago, cant rememebr when. RDAF considered a emergency landing foaming the runway, but they rejected it as too dangerous and risky for the pilot. He was then ordered out over the North Sea, while they considered every scenario, even calling the manufacturers "customer service" while he was burning off fuel out there. They could not give any useable advice, so they ran the bird os low on fuel as possible, then he ejected. I believe the RDAF published an interview with the pilot on Youtube. So somewhere, out there, on the oceanfloor, is a sad and lonely RDAF F-16... RIP o7

Hi, i got a Virpil T-50 stick, and i would like to map it realisticly. I googled it and i can only find layout in russian, and only a few buttons makes sense using google translate. This thread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=20049 says witch buttons are used, but not witch functions belongs to witch buttons. Can someone help me with the rest of the layout? Ok, it seems it is ok now. I followed the guide you posted, no luck... Then i thought; "F*ck it", i took a cup of coffee, had something to eat and took a short walk. I came back, did the exact same thing, and voila, it works now. Apparently i missed something or misclicked before. But i works, so thank you.

My x and y axis does not move at all so i cant do that, and at the "Axis" screen "Link Error" says 4-5. What is link error, the manual does not say anything about them or im blind as a bat. Where does the setting gets saved to? Internal in the joystick?

Thanks for the answer, i have been trouble shooting for 6 hours now, because i just dont understand the VPC Configurator Light software. The brake lever only goes some of the way back out, making the axis going nuts jumping up and down, exactly like a broken sensor or worn out sensor. I have to push the lever all the way out to prevent that. And the brakelever only works the first 3-5mm on the axis, leaving more than half of the travel useless, and its kinda annoying that you cannot feel the button, it activates around halfway on the axis.

Hi, i just recieved my T50 + base today and i have a few problems with the Z axis. 1: Its jumping on the VPC Joystic Mapper Tool without any input from me 2: Its so sensitive that after 3-5mm it reach 100% 3: I have to push it back out for it to go back to zero, like the spring is not installed correctly. 4: Halfway in button 19 activates without me feeling anything, is that normal? Anybody have a solution or have the same problems?

Hi, i hope i can get some help here, since i received my Virpil T-50 flightstick and base, i have been trouble shooting for about 6 hours now.... I have tried and failed with different settings, but the worst thing i could have done was trying to firmware update it, after that the joystick just complete failed to work properly.... Clicking "Firmware" and then "Reset device profile (go to factory default settings)" apparently does not factory reset everything, so im lost here. And what "Device PCB" should i select? I have selected "VPC.CNT.V07" but then none of my axis workes How do i completely factory reset the joystick and base, so there is absolutely nothing of my mess on it?

Same problem here, when loading a simple free flight in the MI-8, it freezes 3/4 of the way, Alt-F4 wont work and ctrl-alt-del back to the joblist wont work. Only loggin off windows works. Loading a freeflight in KA-50 works but the keybindings for the cyclic is gone

I just thought that you are using your bonus to get a discount, but i guess it depends on how your understand the word "Discount", im Danish so i dont know how the word discount should be used correctly. But anyway, im getting a discount by using my bonus; using 4USD bonus and getting 3USD bonus that can be used for a discount, wich is a bonus, not a discount. Words man, words....

You are correct. Why ED dont show it under "Discount" is beyond me, but glad that it works, thanks!

Hi, i dont know if i already own the only few DCS modules that you can use bonus on, but i did a test and found out that the bonus system is either disabled, bugged or no developers want to participate in it, making the bonus system pointless, at the moment. I have attached screenshot of every module that i do not own, and you can see that no bonusses are giving, even though i have 18USD worth of bonus. Am i missing something here?

After each kill i watched my score, making sure it did not go down after a kill= red on red And since both sides uses red hardware, i only shot at the units having the weapon pointing towards my units, so im pretty sure (not 100%) that i have not killed own units. And i did not loose my combatpoints in the logbook.

Did mission 1, mission results was 100%, but on my way home i received the message that i failed the mission and should RTB for a court martial and the mission results dropped to 85%. A bug or a "Mission Feature"? Thanks in advance

Do you mean the bombs fall long or short? Perhaps the firing solution for CCIP is calculated for the altitude the platform is at and cant see the target is elevated? Is the target marked as SPI? Either try CCRP or try the Toss bombing technique (if its in the game mechanics)
