What are you talking about it is easier to kill other airplanes with the eagle; I get killed a lot in the flanker because you really need to work hard to kill someone; it forces you to be take more risks; but the eagle instead makes things easier. Also you can attack two targets at the same time; you can't do that in lock-on su-27

Why can't they develop an export version instead? that may help reduce the price of the raptor. I get the feeling that aircraft companies overcharge for aircrafts and parts; the other day I saw that American Airlines mechanics are building the tail cones of the md-80 because it is cheaper than buying them from Boeing.

su-35 demo visit KonstantinKhmelik channell on youtube , great videographer! http://www.youtube.com/user/KonstantinKhmelik#p/u/1/OfINfouJbTE

you mean like this?

Are 100% sure of that? if I'm not mistaking they had to do sneak launches because f-16 where ready to launch harm missiles on them, if that is not true why was an f-16 and f-117 shoot down the way they where shoot down.

make sure the airplane is on the air while you take the picture; if not this myth is busted :P:lol:

Because most of the sams were destroyed beforehand; unless I see a picture of an f-15 carrying 8 real; not dummies 120s we can say this myth is busted :P

oh nooo... your sim-life is over :megalol: congrats!

It is kind a hard to tell without seeing a top view of the airplane; If I'm not mistaking delta wings can achieve very high pitch rates and if you add those two canards in the front then the outcome improves; my issue with this bird is that it is too big and long; and the size provably hurts its nimbleness since it would be a lot of mass to move around; One example would be the mirage 4000 seen here... It is not a slouch but you can tell that it is less nimble that its smaller brother the mirage 2000 I guess the problem would be sustained turn rate and not instantaneous turn rates; delta wings are very good at piching fast; It has big canards on the front. The question now is if it uses the all moving tail for pitching; which could also help to make it more agile. If I'm not mistaking the ideal fighter size is about the size of the f-15 (there is a study about this stuff) If you look at the raptor videos you can tell that most of the surfaces interact to help the bird turn; the elevators move at the same time as the tvc engines; the rudders move together up as in the super-hornet; and if I'm not wrong; the outer ailerons move up a bit coupled with the slats moving down (my guess is that they create more camber and create a washout on the outer section of the wing to achieve higher alpha) another question I have is if the boxy fuselage helps to create lift. The russians for example went the other way around by creating that lifting duct between the engines like on the f-14, mig-29 and su-27.

For a person like me; born in a country without a queen; it is hard to understand hoe the UK people keep maintaining a royal family on this tough times. Carriers with just choppers would had been useless in a war like the Malvinas. Helicopters don't have enough range to perform missions if the safety of the carrier is on the line; in other words; sometimes you need to keep your carrier far enough to keep it safe and close enough to launch its aircraft effectively.

Got hit but wasn't shoot down? wow! -
The wings look like a diamond delta with diamond shaped covers for the aileron actuators; and the canards look like they are trapezoidal with swept; there seen to be a space between them and the wings. If I'm not mistaken they tested the intake design on a j-10; there are some picture of it on the net. The general configuration is similar to the mig 1.44 concept. The cockpit is very close in shape to the raptor's cockpit. That thing is big! more like a long range fighter; probably designed to travel the bast distances in China. Are the engines the same used for the Russian t-50? I trough that they were not in good terms about intellectual property with the Chinese.

can we calculate how big this thing is? it looks big; now we just need the top view and better pictures; if it is fake which I'm really starting to doubt then it must be a 3d model since all the pictures are very consistent. I guess it is time to reconsider the f-22 numbers and future upgrade rates.
