No, I was talking about multi. I was hosting.

Tried it last night using my pooter as a server. CTD twice in a row before I gave up. I am assuming it's because Im on wireless along with three other PCs in the house but was wondering if anyone experienced same?

Speaking of ATC. We had some dude crashed on the runway and were diverted to a nearby field. I did the proper approach and permissions and on final I had ATC saying "check gear(etc.), go around, check gear, go around, check gear, go around and on and on and on..... Almost lined up for a strafing run on the tower.:chair:

Bummer. Can still barely fly the KA let alone figure out how to fire a weapon. Found it a little overwhelming and at present being so wrapped up in A10 it may be a while before I sit down to master this (IMHO) much harder flying experience. :(

K. But if I quit, so does the server. In other words, when I am hosting I can fly one or the other, but not both?

Hosting a game the other night, I came back to notice all A10 slots filled. With my new BS2 installed I figured I could just jump in and give one a try. Not the case. How do I fly BS in A10C?

Lovin these on my lowly pooter, Grey. Can you tell me the average time length on these? Played for 4 hrs last night but had to shut er down cause of work today. Plan on running it for longer tonight.

Put up a server yesterday and am totally new at this. I was asked if I used sl mode. What is it? Typing chat commands did not work. I told people to use \ and F10 Other, but wasn't sure if only I could use that or not. How do I make sure I am in sl mode?

Apache or Cobra I find myself wishing that DCS would take on one of these guys. Used to love to fly Apache Longbow and recently bought Apache Air Assault which is pretty much arcade but brilliantly visual and just plain fun. But, to have a fully interactive DCS Apache? THAT would be "The Bomb"!

Thx again. Found that stuff. Got to the save part and it is telling me I cannot save it. Hmmm. I renamed to Firefly2 and same thing. Addendum: Fired it up as admin. (Damn Windows7) and was able to save it. Tried as a single mission and it looks like it is going to work. Adding wingmen didn't tho. The right side 1 of 1 checkboxes are not highlighted and don't respond.

I am still trying to figure out how to change the client to Player in ME so I can use the speed up time feature for various reasons. Can someone point me in the right direction?

And they keep telling me I'm not as stupid as I look. And I just proved it by firing up my own server.

Well, that may be easier because I couldn't find any such client in the ME. Then again, I really don't know where to look.

Just loaded them up for single player missions as you said you could play them as such. What's the trick cause they didn't work for me?

Just bought the game and am finding it totally foreign to me as opposed to A10. I downloaded some very blurry, non interactive movies for training but am wondering if DCS supplied some interactive tutorials to get me up and running.

Just saw a guy get kicked last night with 'Pingtoohigh' Of course he was probably on the other side of the world but it does happen.

I'm in a basement with the wireless router diagionally half a house away. Being a renter, I can't do anything about it. I have two locked servers under 100 and dozens, mostly locked, averaging 150 to 330.

Damn! $400 + tax at Best Buy here. I could buy it but would find it hard playing the game living out of my truck. The Saitek x52 is $209. Tempting. Anyone know if it's worth it?

As I sit here on the west coast of Canada, I constantly have a hard time finding, firstly, and unlocked serve and, secondly, one with a ping under 100. I've even tried joining one or two leaving my email but have gotten no response. Is there no one on the west coast that plays this game? Yes, I AM frustrated!

Ran a couple of missions. Used both 105s and 97s. No crashes. All worked well. Fingers crossed. Thanks for all your hard work DCS people.
