Every fourth in a mix is an incendiary is it not? So it should show up. Perhaps it's got something to do with the speed? But, your right. I never see anything till it hits the ground.

Isn't the inverter used (I'm guessing) to convert DC to AC? And wouldn't all the computer systems run on AC? I've been told when buying a generator that if I'm running computers and such I need an inverter type as DC is too spicky for computers.

How about asking them to hold where they like to drop down from alt. and run into mountains? And thenthere's their stupid JDAM runs at 3000 ft.

Think he was referring to the alt. at which the bomblets leave the case. That's what it sounds like to me.

Just been looking at some old refuelling threads. A bunch of people are talking about changing axis curvature settings on their stick options. I am just wondering how that would work in multiplay where you cant pause game? You'd be stuck with those settings?

Strongarm. How important are the bleed air and whatever that other toggle is there? Your not taught to toggle them in the tutorial, or the startup procedural page I printed out a while back. Altho I've taken to flippin them anyways.

Twisted if your saying u dont have a joystick then noms solution should work for u. But every basic joystick has a button 1 for guns and button 2 for ordinance. My Logi X button2 is actually a thumb button. If u have a stick then u probably haven't locked the Mav. (flashing cross) U need to be in range. (4 to 6 miles?) and keyboard is LCNTR up arrow. I mapped that to my 7 button. Still workin on button layouts. Printing Guys' chart now to see what works for me.

Did u zoom out? Moves a lot faster when u zoom out.

I'll have to check that out but it was more than just the canopy. All the exterior lights came on. And as far as I can remember I was just sitting there looking at my MFCD when suddenly there was an increase in noise and I thought 'Oh no, not again.' But, I'll check my keyboard settings asee if I'm leaning on something.

I flew it again. Start to finish. No glitches. Like I said, it has happened before. As with all my switch markings dissappearing, perhaps it's also related to my Nvidia card. I sure all will straighten out in time.

God! I hate this! Not the mission, mind you. It's the bugs, the glitches that occasionally happen. Some you can live with and carry on. Some you have to just throw your hands up in the air. I just had one of those. Now, bein self taught (which is pretty well the only way one masters this game) I have reached a point where I can do what is needed to complete a mission. I've got the Lat/Long thing down pat so, with this mission was good to go. Starting in the dark is no problem for me now as I know where the emerg flood switch is and I go for that first. Startup done, carefully crawling to takeoff all is good. I get permission to go and am away. I follow my waypoints, set path on auto to get me to 25000 (this is a bit tricky as I am hauling sooo much weight AP disengages twice as I lose my airspeed. A 3 degree climb eventually gets me there.) and proceed to input the 4 L/L targets. I set my countermeasures, fire up the pod, weapons and turn to the targets . I take a look at the first target input and I seem to be looking above the target. Could be an input error by me, I don't know because in the next second MY CANOPY BLOWS OFF, ALL MY EXTERNAL LIGHTS COME ON AND STARBORD WING DIPS!!! I straighten a few thing out but in all frustration I dump the mission. The only thing I wonder about is not toggling the bleed air and feed. Is this the games' way of telling me I've just passed out? Or died? I don't know. But, because I am now so damned addicted to this game I'll try till I get it. And I'll flip those toggles just to be safe.:)

With single missions or campaign, I've been using the W key and pause, then unpause. Fixes it every time and it's quick. I just make a habit of doing it when I start startup. I haven't had the problem online but if I did, I wonder if it would work. Even if there is no pause.

U must be playing one of the campaigns. Try downloading some of the homemade Missions. Most are flawless.

I'm findin it hard to take a break. I look outside and the weather tells me I should go for a bike ride, but it's still hard to pull away. As a bachelor with no friends I am spending a lot of time on the single missions right now. No more nagging bitch for me.(Just Betty). I've been into multi a few times and am sort of dissapointed to see the lack of open servers. I really don't want to go thru the rigamoral(sp?) of signing up with a team. Hopin there will be a few more unlocked servers in the near future. Hell. I'm almost good enough to fly with a few of you guys now. :pilotfly:

Tried different loadouts with this one. Coming in low with CBUs is almost certain death. Not sure if they work with the laser but tried that too and missed by 100 feet. High level 2000 pounders still doesn't take out enough targets. Using up two of my 6 mavs on the way there wasn't the answer. Skipped the route, went right to the target, nailed the high sam and the escort sams, high levelled the bridge. Then they just went thru the river. Down to guns. Got two passes but even with jinxing, they nailed me. Looked over the editor some more but could not figure out how to add a buddy to the runway start. That's what I need. A buddy.

canopy popped a couple of times but I am thinking it was a random slip of the fingers on the keyboard.

Piece o cake.:lol: Thanks to your great step by step, I was able to get thru it all and brought 3 out of 4 of us back. Why those autobots are programmed to do bomb runs with laser guided bombs at only a couple of thousand feet is beyond my comprehension. If they took that task on from 15000, they'd all be still alive and kickin. I still had to have them stand off while I set up my final at the airfield or I'm sure all Hell would have broken loose again. I hope these -small?-hmmm, details get picked up in a soon upcoming patch. Other than that. Kickass mission. Bring em on. I anoint you the Mission King.:)

I'm at a loss. That ridge is showing at 9 or 10 miles from target. How could I ever get a lock and live?
