The Dora made me a better Pony pilot I am about 0-40 in takeoff attempts. At first I thought it was the Hotas-X with the rudders mapped to the twist grip. I thought once I got home to the WartHog and true pedals, I would be successful. Nope. Still suck. Almost got airborne once, may have been centrifugal force more than lift, lol. I withdrew to the P-51 and took off without incident, and managed to land it without turning it into scrap metal. Wow, crazy. I will keep trying with the Dora, love the -190, but gonna take lots of practice

If the AH-1G were a woman, I'd marry it.....it's right sexy...and even if someone marketed a DCS: Flight Line Crash-Fire Truck, I'd probably buy it

Held it together til time for exfil.....Landed at what I assume was a bad spot, because they all just stared at me...tried to lift off and set down in a different spot and crashed. I was sweating the whole flight, I think this may have been my first night flying in any of the modules. I loved flying this, look forward to more!

I am still making the same "Air Assault landing from Hell" kinds of mistakes...have managed to slide in a time or two without smashing it up...have not mustered the nuts to try roof top landings.....Just scare the hell out of the tenants in those apartment buildings!

Completely forgot about Low Level Hell, and that was one of my faves. Actually got some hands on time on Miss Clawd IV while the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation borrowed it for some airshows. And on the mission, keep these coming, I need the practice, but good mood music helps! Went a bit off reservation and just practiced some landings around the field. Still kind of coming in hot and sliding on the skids a bit. I am sure many crew chiefs got all butt hurt over that

Chickenhawk....great book, read it while in the Army in 84-85. Gonna need to check amazon for it. Love books like that. Some others, "Lest we Forget" and Mike Novosels book on dustoff. Great reads.

I am totally immersed in this, great job Belsimtek....I downloaded CCR and some Doors....gotta have the right music while I continuously bend my UH-1 into rubble. (Have been at work, so the HOTAS setup is not with me....do NOT try to fly with the keyboard only)

cold start training was my first taste. Once I got everything all fired up, could not resist trying to hover. You know, why configure the controls first, it's all relative, right? Yeah, dunno what I did, went to outside view and the rotor blades were MIA.....on to mission editor, wow, looks different. Set up a fourship, got a two ship once in mission....HQ model is done really well. You get about half of what you ask for...something about requisitions, DA 419 form not done....whatever. Entered the mission with aircraft already running....pulled collective and went into a Pitts Special like attitude...kept it aloft and in one piece for about 0 seconds.....This is gonna be AWESOME
