Just checked mine but the only "mods" I have installed are custom payloads (unitPayloads.lua) and a custom CMS-program (AN_ALE40V_params.lua). I do have TARS and Tacview installed but I don't know if they modify any stock files.

I think he was talking about the use of the Paveway III package (GBU-24) - that one is indeed not used in the sim. The sim only uses Paveway II which are GBU-10 (based on MK-84) and GBU-12 (based on MK-82).

That is what they call a YAPS (Yaw and Pitch Sensors) boom. Because of the upfront placement the air is undisturbed by other air movement in flight. That way you get a pretty good measurement of the "flow". There are vanes on the boom that measure the angle of sideslip (AOSS) during a test. Besides that the AOA is also checked via the othe vane. A pitot is used for measuring airspeed.

Evtl. auch mal überprüfen, ob die Schubachse nicht "doppelt" belegt ist falls du noch einen zusätzlichen Controller wie z.B. Ruder drann hast. Der Extreme 3D Pro hat meines Wissens nach nur eine Schubachse oder? In dem Fall müsste "Thrust" belegt werden - bei mir sind links und rechts belegt weil der TM Warthog ja zwei Schubkontrollen hat ...
