  1. Ok, because whatever I set up (besides CONFIG HI and CONFIG LO) they always deploy the ballute.
  2. That way I could just select the different profile via the DSMS and quickly change from high-drag to low-drag without having to go into the inventory first and change it there.
  3. Sorry for digging this up again but I was wondering about two certain payloads in the file. I am talking about the anti-armour payloads 9 and 10. Both of them seem to carry a GBU-38 and a GBU-12 but the payload does not contain a TGP - is that just a typo in the PDF?

  7. I am not at my PC right now but it should work like this: - hit WP button on CDU - hit LSK 3 (STEERPOINT) - enter new altitude via CDU or UFC - hit LSK 5 to enter the value Update: Just got home and recorded a small track-file - hope this helps :-) wp_altitude.trk
  8. The file (addon.lma3) is needed if you install the mission-pack via Modman.
  9. Looks like the problem might not be fixed. I asked about it in a message to the support and was told, that there was "no solution for this problem and I was asked if I could ask my question the forum". That's not good ... :huh:

    CBu 105 ASL

    Das ist nicht korrekt - die CBU-105 ist quasi eine CBU-97 mit INS-Steuerung. Beide Waffen sind für schwere, gepanzerte Ziele geeignet. Die kleinere CBU-103 ist eine mit INS-System versehene CBU-87. Diese sind für leichtere Ziele gedacht. Die Vorraussetzungen (SPI etc.) für den Abwurf wurden ja schon diskutiert. Im Grunde ist der Ablauf mit dem bei der GBU-31 und GBU-38 identisch. Wichtig ist allerdings, beim Abwurf solange auf dem Release-Knopf zu bleiben bis die Bombe ausgeklingt ist - ansonsten gibt es einen "HUNG STORE" ...

  14. So to close this one down: Wind direction in briefing 090 means I have to enter 270 in the CDU?
  15. You can't see them on the TAD - use TACAN to locate the tanker. Also make sure you are tuned in to the certain frequency (AM) to communicate with him.

Try this: - go to DSMS, select INV - select the particular station where you have the MK-82AIR on - select INV STAT to get into MK-82AIR INVENTORY - select CONFIG FIXED LO - now you can either LOAD (for one station) or LOAD SYM for the selected and opposite station - select STAT to return to DSMS - select the weapon stations you want to include for your new profile - select PROF to enter the profile control - change fuze to NOSE - enter a new profile name using UFC or CDU - save that clicking OSB 18 (where it says NEW) - click on OSB 3 (SAVE) to save new profile Now you can activate this profile via DMS etc. Actually you could create two profiles (one for HD high drag and the other for LD low drag) and set the config to PLT OPT (pilot option). That way it would be simple to switch the profiles "on the fly" using the DMS but that seems to be a bit "broken" right now. SO everytime you switch from "HI" to "LO" you have to change it in the INV first.

  18. Yes, I know but that would be the end of the line. What I was asking for is a quick method of checking the progress of my work without having to start the game. During my painting efforts I usually have quite a few programs running and really don't feel like starting up the game all of the time. The ModelViewer seemed like a good option to me ...
  19. So I guess I will have to save them with the same names as shown in my screenshot then while I am testing. I was just wondering for what the texture mounting (zip or dir) is for that can be found under the tools section.

  21. I know. Both, the ME and also the briefing give you "blowing TO" and the CDU needs to have "blowing FROM". So actually I do have to reverse my entry (as mentioned in my example). But now the support tells me, that I don't have to reverse and now you tell me I have to to reverse. I am totally confused now - is the CDU screwed up?

  23. Another question would also be, if the textures should have a certain file name to show up. After loading the model I can see the file names on the left but does that mean, that I have to save my files with that name as long as I am painting? Or is the there a default name (like in the template) so it shows up too?

  25. I am trying to find a solution how to check the progress of my skins. I assume I can use the ModelViewer for that instead of having to start the game every time but I don't know how. After loading the A-10.EDM file I would like to check my skin but I don't know where to put the files and what to do. I am not new to skinning as you can see in the link of my signature but those jobs I checked and tested in 3DS Max (which of course does not work here).
